Ce soir j'ai commandé un gyros & une pikilia pour deux & j'ai été extrêmement déçu.
La pikilia ressemblait davantage à une salade jardinière qu'à un véritable assortiment de mezzés. Les ingrédients étaient fades & de basse qualité :

• olives noires dénoyautées au lieu de Kalamata,
• feta à la texture de tofu sec & sans goût,
• calamars sans saveur,
• feuilles de vigne (dolmades) médiocres.

La tarama (sauce rose aux oeufs de poisson) ressemblait plus à une purée de pommes de terre brune qu'à une vraie tarama.

En résumé, c'était très loin d'une pikilia authentique. J'aurais mieux fait de la préparer moi-même.

Quand j'ai exprimé mon insatisfaction, on m'a répondu que « ça prenait du temps » & qu'il y avait « différents ingrédients ».

Point positif : ils servent le tout avec du pain à gyros & non des pitas.

Pour une vraie pikilia, vous serez mieux servi à La Maison Grecque.

Nous avons prit le spécial 4 pita pour 4 personnes a 70$. 2 adultes & 2 ados tout le monde était rassasié. Les assiettes sont vraiment très remplies, patate, riz & salade. Ça revient a 17.50$/personne c'est un prix qui rejoint d'autres endroits mais la qualité & la quantité bat les autres restaurants! En plus c'était vraiment très très bon. J'ai déjà hate d'y retourner!
