We had dinner at Vertigo Laval last night & we were pleasantly surprised. To start off the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated & feels welcoming with its warm design & atmosphere. We got seated on a long table with very comfortable chairs. Our waiter Thomas heard us speaking in English when we walked in & made it a point to serve us in our preferred language although he was clearly French-speaking. I loved that effort he put to make us feel welcomed, since it's not something I experience often in restaurants around Laval/Mtl. The menu is very versatile, not overwhelming & very well priced. We were very impressed by the quantity & quality of the food. We started with oysters, a beet salad & the toast with wild mushrooms (wow). As our mains we ordered salmon, the risotto & a burger. We each wanted to try different styles of food & we were all very happy with our food. We even tried some dessert which was delicious!! If you like carrot cake you must try their carrot cheese cake. Overall, we left very satisfied & can't wait to go back! I hope they keep up with their quality.
The restaurant is new & clean however the issue was with the service. We sat down at around 5:30 yet we only received our food at like 6:40? The restaurant wasn't even full when we ordered so I don't get it. I ordered the burger & asked for no tomatoes & onions, but I received it with tomatoes & onions. The bun was cold, & they didn't bring the fries until 5 minutes after, you should bring the entire plate together at once...especially after we waited 1 hour. Sorry to say but I paid over 100 dollars of my hard working money I expect better.
A great addition to the Centropolis! This tapas restaurant & bar offer a chic open space with seatings at tables or around the bar, where people can enjoy sports games without the sound. The music was at the perfect volume & of great taste for an outing with friends. The tortillas are made with corn flour which makes them authentic. The shrimp tacos were not spicy at all & the portions were small, reminding us that they are tapas. However, the price is reasonnable for the quantity. Do not be fooled by the size of the salmon tartare! The miso one was very delicious & filling, as it was full of salmon!
Quel resto génial!! J'ai adoré le concept de pouvoir s'asseoir & échanger avec la cuisine. J'ai parlé avec Annie & Momo qui ont su agrémenter ma soirée :) & bien sûr, j'ai très bien manger & l'ambiance était très agréable!!

Super lieu, on a décidé d'y aller après avoir été faire un vol en chute libre en face du restaurant. La décoration du restaurant est vraiment belle, la musique n'est pas trop forte on est capable d'avoir des bonnes discussions entre amis. La nourriture était délicieuse. Un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le seul bémol est qu'on avait pas assez de pain dans le plat que j'ai pris (tartare de saumon vertigo). Vraiment une belle découverte, je recommande 🤗

We went to Vertigo one week after it opened. The decor (like all restos in Centropolis) was very nice, open space & open kitchen. We shared a squid appetizer which was yummy. Then I tried the shrimp guédille which was tasty. My husband tried the hamburger & found the meat a bit dry though, that can be improved. The service was great though.

J'adore le concept du "bar", mais autour de la cuisine. J'ai pu discuter avec Momo & Annie qui sont absolument incroyables 🙌 J'ai bien manger & bu un bon coktail (avec alcool québécoise en plus) 😁 le resto est joli & a une belle ambiance, c'est définitivement une valeur sûre pour une belle soirée 🥂
Superbe nouveau resto dans le Centropolis! On a passée une excellente soirée , 5@7 avec DJ le jeudi :) La nourriture & le service impeccable! Coup de coeur pour le tartare de saumon Vertigo & les tacos aux crevettes ❤️ Stationnement accessible facilement. Je recommande fortement ce petit nouveau !
