Vertigo blends a warm, lively atmosphere with a modern chic setting and a central bar that makes for a vibrant night out. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and the menu proves versatile for groups, with standout dishes such as filet mignon, oysters, and an espresso martini that many guests rave about. While some plates may be described as okay or a touch pricey and the music can be loud, the overall vibe is inviting, with tasty bites and solid cocktails that encourage a return visit.
The waitress was not checking on us. We were waiting a long time to get drinks, food & dessert. We came in at 7;30 & we only got served for drinks almost 45mins later. Also the same for the food. If we had some spot checks would have been preferable.
Very Small plates for the price & there was no salmon at 7pm on a friday, we returned our oysters as well (not properly opened with shell inside). The burrata was a joke because they gave as 6 cherry tomatto & a mini burrata (25$). Ordered the tacos & it was very small (not worth it), the césar salade was good but very small, the sangria was good but the pitcher was small.
The service was not very welcoming & very long, took 10min to receive an other glass for the wine & a knife (the waiter on the terrasse was new..) Over all : 4/10, do not recommend, go to an other restaurant please. It is not a well run & prepared restaurant, i will not return.

Délicieux repas pour mon anniversaire. Les boissons étaient excellentes & le menu était varié. Le serveur était très charmant.Il y en avait pour tous les goûts. J'ai enlevé une étoile car tout a été long à se faire servir. Pour ceux qui veulent prendre leur temps & relaxer beaucoup entre chaque service, c'est l'endroit.
Restaurant très correct en soi. C'est propre, bien décoré & joli. Le menu est intéressant. L'ambiance est bien, mais c'est assez bruyant & parfois le choix de musique était douteux. Ma déception se situe au niveau des portions qui étaient particulièrement petites. Pour le prix, j'ai trouvé que la taille des assiettes était vraiment ridicule. En termes de goût, je donnerais un 7.5/10, mais en termes de taille, un 4/10. J'avais encore faim en sortant du restaurant alors que j'avais dépensé près de 50$ pour mes aliments. Bref, je ne retournerais pas à cet endroit, mais je pense qu'il peut certainement plaire à d'autres.

From the moment we walked in, the service at Vertigo Laval was absolutely flawless. The staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, & genuinely passionate about making your experience amazing. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality & care that goes into their menu.
Whether you're going for a night out, a date, or just good food with good vibes - this place delivers every single time. Can't recommend it enough. Huge shoutout to the team at Vertigo Laval - you're doing everything right! 🙌
Food was good, 2 plates were warm, steak was cold, was rectified quickly, took 1 hour 10 minutes to get my first taste of food, under staffed I think, staff was very nice I have to say. Treated us to dessert on the house.
The atmosphere was inviting with the decor vibe of modern barn industrial style & the waitress was very nice she took her time to answer every single question I had about the menu & I let her chose my cocktail seeing as how I've never drank any of the cocktails they had & the meal I chose was on point, entree of dumplings peanut butter sauce with a Cesar salad & my meal of fish & chips wow delicious!!!!
J'ai pris la joue de boeuf avec patates pilées & salade césar. J'ai aimer les saveurs malgré que c'était un peu froid. La salade césar manquait de vinegrette. En ce qui concerne la serveuse...elle versait de l'eau dans nos verres & la moitié de la table était mouillée, sans jamais nettoyer. Interrompant constamment nos conversations. J'ai déjà été mieux servie dans un bar. Mais ma viande avait une très bonne saveur & très tendre.

I was with a friend a we loved the food but the service was really slow
It took around 15minutes until we knew who was our waitress & once she took our orders, the appetizers took around 30minutes & then the main dish came 45mins later & they even forgot to get us one of the dish that we ordered. Since we already waited that much time we decided to simply cancel that item because the waitress told us that they didn't even start cooking it.
We hoped that the dessert would come faster as we know they don't cook it on spot but even for that we had to wait another 30mins until they bring us the dessert....
Although we loved the food we did not have a good time due to the service.
We went to that area on Friday night. It was so crowded, we had to park in premier moisson parking lot & walk back.
I liked the food. The drinks were ok.
A good place to spend time catching up with friends.
