if you've never had vegan food, let this place be your first time so that you don't have a skewed opinion of what vegan food could be. they literally have a million dishes that sound like they are not vegan but they SOMEHOW made it vegan (magic???)
We've visited Veganerie several times & have tried many different dishes - each one has been full of flavour & truly satisfying. Even the non-vegans in our group have been consistently impressed & amazed by how delicious everything is.
The menu is creative & well thought out, & the quality of the food never disappoints. Whether you're vegan or just curious, Veganarie is absolutely worth a visit.
A little family-owned vegan gem tucked away in Pierrefonds! The food was delicious & comforting, & Arie is very welcoming & takes pride in his work. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys food!

I flew in from Toronto & this was my first meal in Montreal, & it was fantastic! The Bang Bang Shrimp was the highlight of the meal. We also ordered a cheeseburger, & 2 poutines, all of which were delicious. The service & atmosphere were amazing! We felt very welcomed, & at home. What a great start to this trip, & a great impression of Montreal! I will definitely be visiting anytime I'm back!

I had the honour of dining at Veganerie last Sunday. I am a long-standing vegan who also happens to eat gluten-free. While the restaurant isn't gluten-free & most likely not 100% celiac-safe, the owner is exceptionally well-versed in food handling & managing significant dietary concerns. He was able to guide me toward a variety of delicious menu options. I savoured every delectable bite of my soy kofta, Greek-style potatoes & salad. The selection of beverages was not only extensive but also complete with fun options! Although returning will involve a six-hour commute, I genuinely look forward to dining here again! Next time I'll try a sample from the dessert menu! This family-run restaurant is a must-try for anyone seeking a fun & healthy dining experience. Entirely vegan, the menu will please both vegan & omni dinners! Do yourself a favour, eat here!

The best vegan Mediterranean restaurant I've been to this side of the planet. The Pikilia is a no-brainer for a starter, & the soy gyro was excellently seasoned & prepared. The tzatziki is tofu based & excellent no matter what you're pairing it with. Veganarie is an easy recommendation, even if you have to drive across Montreal.
This is one of the best meals I have ever had. I got the spanakopita & the phill cheese steak & both were absolutely divine! I wish I could give this place 6 or even 7 stars. The owner was very personable & took the time to really talk with us & make sure we enjoyed the experience. He even recommended us great things to do while we were in town. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
