I ordered through their web site for pick up. Website said order would be ready by 18:10. Arrived on time & they seemed to be overwhelmed with orders & said it would take some time. But I was there so I politely waited. Order was ultimately ready a few minutes later, that is not a problem at all. But I believe they hurried to complete the order. Wasabi & ginger were missing. & the Sushi were average quality in terms of taste & texture. Sorry, but this first experience at Umai was average. Maybe I was just unlucky this time, given the other good reviews.View more

We have been twice to Umai Sushi & its always a very nice experience. Pretty easy to order online & its quick to be ready. Employees are very nice & they even do cute drawings on the paper bag. Sushis, poke bowl, karaange chicken & sushi burrito are all bangers!View more

Yesterday, both my daughter & I found ourselves near Monk Street & were lucky enough to stop at Umai for food. We ordered delicious smoked salmon poke bowls & bubble pineapple juice. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. They even added stickers to wish us "bon appétit" which we found to be a cute gesture. Although we don't often venture into that part of the city, we will definitely look forward to visiting them again.View more
