Yesterday, both my daughter & I found ourselves near Monk Street & were lucky enough to stop at Umai for food. We ordered delicious smoked salmon poke bowls & bubble pineapple juice. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. They even added stickers to wish us "bon appétit" which we found to be a cute gesture. Although we don't often venture into that part of the city, we will definitely look forward to visiting them again.View more

Loved their poke bowls, so I tried their sushi platter & karaage, & both were pretty disappointing. The sushi was mostly cucumber & crabstick. For the price,I'd expect better quality sushi. The karaage was okay but very small pieces & not very authentic karaage. Everything seems really overpriced for the quality of ingredients compared to other sushi places in the sud-ouest.View more
