Staff is very nice, place was cute & clean. We personally had some fried veggies, fried chicken, veggies bao, beef & chicken sticks. Overall food is tasty but be aware, when things are fried, it is simply very oily. You can tell the oil is fresh though. But man it is oily. Not what we expected. So I give the food a 4 start cause you can tell it's all good quality & fresh produce, but the heavy oil is not my thing.View more

The decor is cute, the staff is super friendly & the food was delicious! We had the oysters, salmon tartare, grilled eel & the flambé tuna! They were all great! I'm so glad I found Ukiya Izakaya on my visit to Montreal! The food was superb (I had the veggie ramen, oyster mushrooms, edamame, & vegetable dumplings), & the staff was wonderful. I got take-out but ended up staying & talking to Kevin & Natasha for an hour while waiting for my food. Truly a warm family atmosphere, with great vibes, decor, lighting, & delicious, authentic Japanese food. Can't wait to return again!View more
