Went there late at night with a couple of friends & had a great time. The staff were nice, patient & made us feel welcomed! The drinks were really good & generously portionned. The food came out at a reasonable time, it was fresh, meat was juicy, & my unagi bowl was the perfect savory-sweet I was looking for. Desserts tasted amazing as well, the mousse cakes were smooth, & the ice cream was rich. Needless to say, it was an amazing end of the week for me & my friends :)View more

We came here with low expectations & they delivered exactly what we wanted which was quantity. My partner & I had drinks & skewers right before coming here at Ichigo Ichie & while the food & drinks were fantastic, it left us feeling still hungry for the price we paid. We decided to drop by here for seconds because the skewer prices were cheaper & we just wanted some filling. The drinks we got here were interesting to look at & pretty tasty but the flavours were a little muddled. Kind of like a good jungle juice with a theme. The drinks we had at Ichigo's was more polished & flavourful. The skewers & karaage, which we also got at the last place was definitely not as flavourful & well executed as Ichigo Ichie but you get so much more food for your money. It was kind of what I expected. If I had gotten better flavour then that would have been amazing but I think they made it up for their lack of flavour with their portion sizes. All in all, we paid about the same as Ichigo Ichie & got like 2.5x more food. Felt quite full after. It's good food for a fair price & you can't go wrong going here for a meal. We went for the all you can eat + drink from 3-7 pm which we were told was $20 by a social media post but when we got there it turns out they increased the price to $25 ... The deal was still worth it in our books, the food is pretty good, the options are limited for all you can eat but that's expected. I would definitely recommend it for a cheap "all you can eat" dinner - especially the salmon tartare which has raw salmon! By far the highlight of the meal. I went here for the Happy Hour special that is going a bit viral & I will say that it was a fantastic deal. Happy Hour is $20 & includes a cocktail that normally costs $15, so you're essentially paying $5 for all the appetizers you can eat. They don't advertise the Happy Hour items so the options are: Edamame, Wakame, Salmon Tartare, Grilled Mushrooms, Chicken Wings, Sweet Potato Fries, Mozzarella Sticks, Octopus Balls, Veggie or Chicken Gyoza. The food itself is not great, it's clearly frozen foods that they prepare in bulk as part of this happy hour promo but it's still worth it, especially if you're into quantity over quality. The drink quality was fantastic, highly recommend the Summer Purple. Our server was also great. I will note that the food takes forever to come out, it was around 35-40 minutes. Considering it's just fried frozen appetizers, that's too long in my opinion. Still worth the try especially if on a budget.View more

We were a group of 6 for the happy hour special. Drink & food for $20, great deal. Restaurant was very busy, lineup was 30 or 40 people at some times. We put our phone number down & grabbed a drink next door & came back when we were called. The salmon tartare bites were good. Also the chicken wings.
