Uchi Montreal Restaurant: Menu, Reviews & Reserve (2026)
JapaneseSushiSzechuanBring your own wineCatering
Located in the popular neighborhood of Village/Centre-Sud in Montreal, it is becoming increasingly difficult to choose among the many Japanese restaurants that are sprouting like mushrooms. Fortunately for everyone, restaurant Uchi on Amherst Street is here to reassure us that there's nothing to worry about, this is a true Japanese restaurant.

Uchi proposes a unique and varied menu consisting of appetizers, seafood and tasty rolls. Their mouth-watering small hors d'oeuvres will beautifully compliment the delicious main meals of this unrivaled cuisine. We can also find on the menu some specialties such as sushi, tuna Tataki, spicy scallop roll and beef sashimi. Furthermore, we added Szechuan cuisine to our menu. This cuisine is prepared with spices that will warm up any adventurer.

Although the decor is of a sleek and modern Japanese style, you will quickly figure out that you will not be coming back here for it's decor alone, but also for the very high quality food that is served to you!

I really like this restaurant. The place is beautiful & the food is very good. I don't eat a lot of sushi & their menu has other alternatives such as Pad Thai, General Tao, Szechuan shrimp & they are super good. I even go there for Take out.
