I have been going to this restaurant for years & always had very good experiences. Except last Sunday June 14th for breakfast my husband & I were served by this older waitress who was very very rude & disrespectful. I had asked for egg white omelette & for it to have very little oil when cooking due to my stomach issues (which was never an issue before. They would always bring it as I asked) the waitress gave me a judgy look saying'yeah sure' & laughed. She then served me oily & overcooked egg whites. Did not once come to ask how the food was etc. when trying to wave her down to have it changed she would ignore us. Only after giving us the bill she asked why I haven't eaten the food. She serves customers as if it's an inconvenience to her. This waitress made the experience very uncomfortable being there. Other than this waitress, the bus boy/girls, hostess were all very sweet & wonderful.

The food & the atmosphere was beautiful, delicious & inviting! The steak was perfectly cooked & seasoned, as were the fries & the the calamari that we ordered as an entree... My favourite part of this evening was not only the crème brûlé I got to share with my husband, but it was the staff... From the busboy to our waiter & the rest of the staff, their attention to detail & service was top NOTCH! Thank you for making our date night so wonderful! It's rare to see nowadays, servers taking pride in their work & being respectful to their customers. This is how you keep a loyal clientele! Great job!

Amazing place all around & a must-see. Down to the impeccable food, well curated menu, live music, & exemplary service. The 207 Seafood & Steakhouse never disappoints!

We have been regular customers at Restaurant 207 for quite some time, especially for Sunday brunch, & we have always enjoyed the place. The restaurant itself has improved a lot over time: the menu is better, the space is nicer & more open, & the overall atmosphere is very pleasant.

The table service is usually excellent. A special mention goes to Christina, who always provides outstanding service. She is warm, attentive, professional, & truly makes the experience enjoyable. Once we are seated, the service is often very good.

However, there is a major difference between the quality of the restaurant & the service at the table versus the welcome at the front. The young ladies at the host stand often seem unfriendly, with no smile, no warmth, & very little sense of customer service. As customers, we sometimes feel like we are bothering them simply by asking a question or showing up for our reservation. It gives the impression that they do not really want to be there or deal with customers, which is unfortunate because they are the first impression of the restaurant.

The last three or four times we came in, we were told right away that we had to hurry & that we only had about an hour to eat because another reservation was coming after us. Today, I called ahead specifically to reserve for five people so we could enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed. Unfortunately, the tone on the phone was not very welcoming either, & I was told that they could not guarantee how long we could stay at the table & that if another reservation came in, we would have to leave.

I completely understand that a busy restaurant has to manage reservations & table turnover. However, as regular customers, we should not feel rushed out before we even sit down, especially when we make the effort to call ahead & reserve.

It is disappointing because we genuinely like Restaurant 207. The food, the improvements, the atmosphere, & the table service are all strong points. But the front-of-house welcome really needs improvement. There is a noticeable gap between the excellent service from some of the waitresses & the cold, unwelcoming attitude at the entrance.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because this restaurant has a lot of potential & many great qualities. A warmer, more professional welcome & better communication around reservations would make a big difference.

A wonderful restaurant the serves quality food. Famous for their Roast Beef. Great staff, beautiful atmosphere a place that you'll always want to come back to for breakfast, lunch & dinner 👍👍👍
