empanada(15) filipino(10) to go(7) recommend(6) kwek(6) skewers(5) sauce(5) price(5) authentic(4) honestly(3) balls(3) crispy(3)Been there today & I ordered the 14,99$ 2 stick of 3 pieces of kwek-kwek & 2 stick of 3 pieces of shomeig -TAKE OUT- with beverage I took the buco undrinkable way too sweet tasted like chemical 2 SMALL showpow for 8$+ & for my take out I didn't get any sauce that WAS SUPPOSED TO come with my order very disappointed....for the price you pay staff should give at least a minimum of attention ain't have plans to go back there I prefer to go in Philippines it's 1/4 the price & look & taste way better! BTW FROM WHAT I EAR TUSOK-TUSOK IS OWNED BY THE SAME GUY FROM MANILA CUISINE NO WONDER WHY IS SO EXPENSIVE.
I wanted to share my experience with the Tusok-tusok street food, my friend & I were very excited about this new restaurant! That was Sunday evening & we decided to go out & go to rest.when we were inside there's no other choices available except the fish ball & quick-quik I'm not sure if spelling good. so we tried . & can you imagine for 1 stick fish ball & quik ball 1 with 2 sm drinks. The price was too high & the food was cold. I told my friend so disgusting what we eat. Not suitable to recommend!
when i heardt about empanada am really excited but when i tried it am disappointed because the wrapping is very thick & taste ia didn't like hope they will work on it
The food was great & the staff is so nice & courteous! I can't wait to go back!
Top notch Filipino restaurant, very flavourful & authentic. Everybody is super kind, I'll definitely be coming back here often 👌
Try the balut!!
I was so excited to try it because of all the hype, but I left feeling disappointed. The empanada was too salty, the dough wasn't crispy enough, & the egg was undercooked. The taho was also bland.it was too watery & seemed to be missing flavor.
The skewers were also overpriced for the portion size. I understand that everything is more expensive these days, & I don't mind paying more if the food is really good. But paying that much for two small skewers just didn't feel worth it.
That said, the staff were very friendly & welcoming, which I really appreciated. I truly wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the food just wasn't for me.
Amazing food & as well an amazing staff & owner! The food is to die for & the empanadas OMG. 10/10 will come again.
This place is a 10/10 by all parameters!! The food was amazing, but the staff were also so personable & the chef was extremely kind!!! We weren't even gonna dine in but decided to stay because of them :D
We had the empanadas & they exceeded my expectations by far. Worth every bite & worth a wait.
This is the best place to get deep fried empanadas! They even fry it twice so it's super crispy :))
Staff were super friendly & accommodating, even offering us drinks as we came on a particularly busy day with a backlog of orders. Got the famous empanadas & they were super yummy, filling & affordable! Will definitely recommend this place to me friends :)
I ordered the empanada & the staff was soo sweet & accommodating to my needs! To top it off, they went above & beyond, their service is impeccable!! You can tell they're caring people, & the food was delicious :D great atmosphere, I HIGHLY recommend this place.
