About

TT Café serves a distinct culinary fusion that bridges traditional Vietnamese preparation with contemporary café culture. The menu features classic banh mi sandwiches constructed with crisp, airy baguettes and savory, herb-infused proteins that define authentic regional flavors. Patrons encounter a specialized beverage program centering on robust Vietnamese coffee prepared with rich, sweetened condensed milk to balance the deep roasted notes. The environment functions as an efficient space for focused interaction and casual consumption of handheld specialties. Ingredients are prepared with an emphasis on freshness, ensuring that savory profiles remain bright and aromatically complex. Every item reflects a disciplined approach to balancing bold Southeast Asian spices with modern ingredient accessibility. This establishment provides a precise, functional, and flavor-forward experience for those seeking high-quality, authentic portable cuisine.

Review Summary

TT Café is frequently praised for its fresh, high-quality pastries and a diverse selection of well-crafted coffee and tea drinks. Visitors often highlight the welcoming atmosphere and spacious environment, which makes it a popular spot for both working and socializing near the canal. While many diners enjoy the flavourful banh mi and unique treats, opinions on the food are mixed, with some noting concerns regarding pricing and consistency in certain dishes. Overall, the cafe is widely regarded as a friendly destination for quality refreshments, even if some guests feel there is room for improvement in specific menu offerings.

Good food & okay favorite drinks. We went on a weekday & there was a decent amount of seating available. While you can stay & work, there are limited outlets & the seats are not the most comfortable. We orderd the following:

Vietnamese coffe not very concentrated, tasted more similar to a regular latte. The coffee was not strong & it didn't seem lik they used condensed milk.

Chicken Banh mi: pretty tasty but nothing special. A bit overpriced in my opinion.

Fresh spring roll: Good, very stuffed with decent amount of shrimp

Matcha: not very good. Very weak & if you get a flavored one the syrup is incredible sweet.

Overall, I would probably not go out of my way to return.

Loved their Vietnamese coffee! I had their double chocolate cookie. The Barista/Front Cashier is very friendly!

Great place for WFC.

Good place for a coffee break with delicious vietnamese food. We tried the Banh mi breakfast, the vietnamese cream coffee & the matcha coffee.

Nice cafe to come for a cup of coffee. Food on the other hand, not so much for a Vietnamese born like me since the taste is nowhere close to authentic. The shop was busy with only 2 staffs, so waiting time was expected, but it was not awfully long. Again, I will only come for a basic coffee next time...

Vietnamese-Canadian fusion restaurant. They offer light plates like banh mi as well as coffee. Unfortunately, no more ping ping table. It's only available for reservations. Bummer! I ordered a decaf americano & it was smooth, not bad at all. The banh mi had an interesting sweetener glaze that I've never had before. It was really warm, the tofu pieces were well crisped, but they could've been a bit smaller to be easier to eat. I liked it. The space is good for work as they have wifi; however, the tables are spaced out strange & there are only a few places with charging outlets.

It’s a casual cafe where you can grab good coffee & ICECREAM (love it!) & play ping pong. Great place to stop by if you are nearby.

Perfect location to pick up a quick dish for picnic at the lachine canal. Their food is not like authentic Vietnamese restaurant but good enough for a Montreal cafe.
