TSUJIRI was founded in 1860 by Riemon Tsuji who was renowned for his spirit of “YUWA”, meaning "continue to innovate and sustain the tradition". His statue was built in Kyoto, Japan to honor his contribution to the Japanese tea industry. Mr. Tsuji has refined the cultivation of Gyokuro (the highest grade of Japanese green tea) and his method is still being used to this day. He is also the inventor of the tea box that preserves the longevity and freshness of the tea leaves during transportation, making fresh tea from Kyoto available to other Japanese cities a century ago. In 2010, CHAHO, which means tea shop in Japanese, was first established outside of Japan to carry on our founder’s spirit and to serve fresh tea to our customers worldwide.

Love the color of Matcha latte! Such a fresh dark green color I was looking for! Strawberry short cakes was so creamy & tastes simply amazing! One question about service is that my friend said she paid tips so the staff is supposed to bring the food over but they didn't.View more

Soba is a noodle which is made by matcha. It's delicious. We also ordered houjicha caramel chiffon cake. The cream on the top of the cake is made of maple. It's a good favor I've never tried before.View more

The food was all very delicious! I'm not a huge ramen fan because the ones in the US are normally very salty & heavy but this one is so light, sweet & just salty enough! The soba noodles were so tasty as well as the Poké ball (which could have used more fish but still good) If you're around & looking for a cute cafe with good food & nice matcha drinks, come here!View more

amazing experience. the service & quality of the food is perfect ! there is a lot of room inside to sit & it's not too busy either. perfect for working or just spending time while having food / drinks. the matcha lattes taste better than any other place i've been to. the staff is always so nice & welcoming :)!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to try new places & try new dishes !View more

The staff were okay, not rude but not welcoming. The matcha latte is just milk cant taste the matcha. It's also on the pricy side. The matcha cake was bland, no flavor. The yuzu tea was great. The place is cute.View more

We were passing & we saw the name "matcha"...so we decided to stop & have a drink. The service is ok, there are some tables inside & outside, many people with tablets seems like working , enjoying their snaks ...we seated outside to have our matcha drinks & contemplate life calmly. Apparently the matcha has good quality cause it's not so bitter . The latte matcha is creamy & warm. Delicious!! I miss a little bit of originality & personality .
