Portions are a good size for two & everything is prepared with care. To try : seekh kebab & lamb korma. This is one of the few places that can prepare it without nuts (cashews). I got to eat this dish after 10 years & it was phenomenal!!! I am an East Indian & can vouch for an authentic preparation & taste! Thank you for a lovely experience. This is definitely a must try restaurant that you'll keep coming back to!
I've been going to this restaurant for almost a year now.
The tikka chicken roll is truly the most incredible sandwich ever. With fresh homemade naan, juicy chicken & the perfect spicy sauce, I haven't found anything like it. The place is cute & the staff is friendly. I've tried other things on the menu like the lamb curry & it is also delicious.
The only reason why I am giving it 3 stars is for the inconsistency. I've had 3 times that I waited more than 1 hour for an order of two sandwiches, & the restaurant was nearly empty. But I keep maintaining the thought that it is still more worth & tastier than going at McDo. As well as the importance of supporting small & local businesses. However, in the past few months, the rolls have been a'hit or miss' experience. Sometimes it was missing ingredients, like the onions for example.
The other day I ordered through UberEats for my whole family to enjoy & the naans had been swapped for a tortilla bread, the sizes were almost half of its usual & the sauce was different (tasted more like mustard). It was a big disappointment & drop in quality of what this restaurant had got me used to.
We had a great experience here! The lamb Rogan Josh with Naan was sooooo good
A nice cozy place. Our server Noor was so sweet & kind. We had chicken 65 for appies & our main was lamb biryani paired with kingfisher beer.
I like the restaurent, in the inside was ambient & nicely designed. Also loved the food I recommend it😊
This is such a quaint restaurant perfect for an intimate meal with a friend. The lamb curry was spiced well & tender.
Worst food I ever had in Montreal. I ordered chicken tikka masala, first of all it was too too sweet & I want to know who puts Capsicum in chicken tikka masala. I have always seen Capsicum in kadhai chicken or chicken do pyazza. & the ambiance & table cloth was too smelly. If you are desi please don't go there.
We ordered multiple dishes - the eggplant, lamb rogan jhosh, chicken korma, spinach paneer etc. I like how they let you pick your spiciness level - we went medium on everything & it was just right. Some Indian restos are drifting towards adding sugar in most recipes, like the'Chinese' restaurants, but thankfully TruIndia keeps it real (& unsweetened!). Thanks for a great dinner!
