I'm from out of town & was looking for some good Jamaican food. But, I found this Trini spot & decided to try it. The food was decent. Oxtail was too sweet for my liking. It's just not what I'm used to. I guess that's how Trini people cook their oxtail. The flavor was good, though. Also, I had the curry goat roti. This was a bit disappointing in the sense that there were no bones. I've never had de-boned curry goat before. But again, the flavor was good. Fantastic food every time. The roti is cooked perfectly. The doubles are my favorite. It's hard to get good doubles outside of Trinidad & Toronto. Montreal doesn't really have many options. A lot of places microwave their frozen doubles & serve it to you. You can tell it's made fresh.
To the person that had a review with'These people aren't even Jamaican, they're Indian!' yea &? ever hear of Indo-Caribbean people in Trinidad & Guyana. They didn't claim to be a Jamaican restaurant, it's just a Caribbean restaurant. Jamaican people aren't the only people to make Caribbean food.
