Review Summary

Tropé is widely appreciated for its selection of fresh, healthy smoothies, bowls, and toasts that many patrons find delicious and rejuvenating. The atmosphere is generally described as welcoming, with many visitors highlighting the friendly and attentive service provided by the staff. While the quality of the ingredients and the flavorful menu options often justify the higher price point for most customers, some experiences are hindered by concerns regarding kitchen efficiency, occasional service errors, inconsistent cleanliness, and awkward interactions related to tipping. Despite these mixed remarks, the establishment remains a popular destination for those seeking a quick and nutritious snack.

Excellent healthy smoothie cafe. Serving a variety of bowls, toasts & coffee. Friendly staff. They have a small counter area with 4 bar stools to enjoy your purchase. Try the Greek yogurt bowl, the muscle up smoothie & their avocado toast! Everything is so good!

I visited this café today & ordered two banana matchas, which were fine, but the rest of the experience was incredibly disappointing.
I ordered two acai bowls, & the first one I received had ants on it. I immediately showed it to the staff member working, & she did change the bowl for me. While I appreciate that she replaced it, finding insects on my food in the first place completely ruined my appetite & made me highly concerned about the hygiene & quality control in the kitchen. If there are ants in the food, it makes you wonder what else is going wrong behind the scenes.
To make matters worse, I also ordered the halloumi toast, & the halloumi wasn't grilled or prepared properly at all-it felt like it was just thrown on the bread. That is definitely not how halloumi should be served.
Overall, despite the staff member replacing the bowl, I am really disappointed with the food quality i paid 77$

Do NOT order the Açai bowl… it gave me really bad stomach aches🥲🥲. Idk what they put in there but it was definitely not fresh & not worth the price.

I tried a smoothie bowl & had a stomach ache after eating half of it. The smoothie also had a unblended frozen fruit inside.... don't recommend getting the smoothies. The tables were dirty as well & very unsanitary. 😢😢😢

It's a shame because I really wanted to go there when I walked past. Since I'm vegan, I read the menu carefully. Thinking I ordered a PB & J bowl, they made me a smoothie! When I asked for an explanation, they told me I hadn't specified...

1. Who would call two different items on the same menu the same?
2. If there are two similarly different items on your menu, why not ask the customer which one they want instead of assuming they want the smoothie when they haven't specified.

Then I was also told that there were no more bowls left anyway.

The smoothie was good, but it was the first & last time I'd be tempted by a beautiful facade.
