A decent restaurant in a strip plaza. I have not been to a Greek restaurant in Montreal for quite a few years & I always compared them favourably to the Toronto ones. It seems now, both Toronto-style food (rice &/or oven potatoes) & prices have moved to Montreal. Anyway, the food (calamari, pork souvlaki, lamb chops) was really good (& quite a lot). They were served with a large plate of the so-called greek salad (not the village variety) with a few trimmings of feta cheese for a small extra charge. There was no any portion of tzatziki served with the souvlaki, as it it customary in Toronto. The fries were the only negative point. They were cut in round slices, so thin that they were kind of burned & hard. All in all, a good meal but nothing special to warrant a return visit.
Two pieces of a quartered potato, cup of rice both overcooked. Salad okay. Chicken Little dry. $12 for tzatziki. SMH 🙄. Better off going to a fast food Greek restaurant.
This place is my Greek food go to. I didn't try their wines but can confirm their house sangria is incredible! Calamari is the best around; although pricy. Their half a Greek chicken, potatoes & salad are delicious. Down side, tzatiki isn't included with the dishes.
FIRST TIME & DEFINITELY WONT BE MY LAST!!! Great food , fast service everything is amazing from the ambiance to the employees & of course the food. My brother & I decided to bring my dad here for his birthday !!! We were all so amazed by everything. We ordered a seafood salad , fried calamari a Greek salad we had a pikilia meat dish with pork chops , loukaniko , lamb & chicken & home potatoes, everything was so fresh & savoury!! What a wonderful experience thank you Sotiri for your welcoming hospitality & great service this is my go to place for authentic Greek food from now on will definitely come back here!! I ordered for the very first time today. I had the Chicken Souvlaki plate with fries, Greek potatoes, & a large'everything salad'. Absolutely delicious!! I will be ordering again soon for sure!
Great service. Food was generally good, but I wasn't a fan of their roasted potatoes, maybe due to lack of seasoning. The salad offered with the meal was big, but the dressing was basic, probably healthier, but not the tastiest. I liked their dessert called galaktoboureko. One of the few or the only restaurant open until 10pm weekdays in that side of Laval, in 2024.

The Shrimp Tripolis, sautéed in wine, was a standout dish, cooked to perfection & capturing the essence of the sea with every bite. Not to be outdone, the Fried Calamaris raised the bar for seafood, tasting as if they were caught & cooked in the same breath, delivering a freshness that's hard to find. Despite the indulgence in appetizers, we found room for the main courses, among which the Quebec baby lamb chops were a marvel of culinary artistry. Each chop was a masterpiece, cooked flawlessly to exude flavors that were both rich & delicate. The Greek chicken accompanied by unbelievably delicious potatoes rounded out the meal, leaving an indelible mark on our palates. Our companions were equally pleased with their selections, adding to the chorus of approval. What truly set Tripolis apart, however, was not just the food, but the atmosphere. Despite the restaurant's official closing time of 9 PM, we found ourselves comfortably seated well past this hour, surrounded by a bustling environment of satisfied diners & a staff that radiated happiness in their work. After working late yesterday, we decided to try Tripoli on a week night. I don't remember the food ever being so good! We ordered the cold Pikilia & it was plentiful. Everything on the plate was delicious from the Kopanisti, Tzantziki, to the beets, & herring. I must have eaten 3 slices of bread with it. We then shared a 2 stick souvlaki plate (one chicken & one pork) with the flat potatoes, & the everything salad. Everything was tasty, cooked to perfection, & I appreciate they did not use a lot of salt. The superior ingredients spoke for themselves , we took leftovers & today they are just as good. The price was also reasonable. Great to see new ownership doing a great job!
Went with the girlfriend & her parents for a nice night out. If you want souvlaki on pita, look elsewhere. But if you want authentic Greek food, then this is the place!
We had the octopus, taramosalata, tzatiki as starters & they were fantastic; the tzatiki was thick & tasty - not runny like you get at other places. Octopus with capers coulda been a meal unto itself.
Dinner was lamb (by the kilo) with sides of potatoes, rice & greek salad. I highly recommend trying the oven roasted potatoes with lemon...I prolly put on 5 lbs with those alone.
Dessert was the little dough balls (dunno what they're called) with honey & yoghurt...OMG, I stuffed myself.
