Bouffe excellente, plein d'options végé, ambiance au top & proprio super sympa! Merci!
Hands down the best Lebanese food in town! Everything tasted homemade & full of flavor. The owner's hospitality made the experience even better, such a kind person who truly cares about his guests. He even offered us a discount! Definitely coming back! 100% recommend
It was a rainy October afternoon when I decided to stop by Trip de Bouffe to grab a quick lunch. Usually when I walk by, the place has a lineup to the door, but likely due to the weather - & my late lunch - the restaurant had a calm energy I've rarely seen there.
Inside, there's a small seating area by the window flanked by walls covered with art & local event fliers. Towards the counter are shelves stacked with Lebanese snacks & desserts along with fridges filled with ready to eat meals & Lebanese cheeses.
I scanned the extensive menu & ordered a Poulet Regulier: marinated chicken with cheese rolled into a soft pita with pickled turnip, tomato, onion, olive, labneh & mint.
I only realized afterwards that adding all these toppings is an extra $2.50 (+$1 for the labneh) - which turned my $9 pita into $14. A fair price but more than I planned to spend on lunch.
The pita was delicious & the addition of the mint was a clever way to add sweetness while the Labneh (soft cheese) added creaminess to the mix. I do wish there was a bit more chicken but as a whole it was quite substantial.
The atmosphere here really shines in the summer, when avenue mont-royal is pedestrian & you can enjoy your meal on their outdoor set up of tables & chairs.
Good food, good servings & good service. prices are a too inflated 1.5 or double time. I paid 11$ for a manousheh worth 5-6$, too expensive
Ho wow ! le sandwich au poulet épicé (manouche) était absolument un des plus délicieux sandwich que j'ai mangé , le pain fait maison, tout à fait délicieux & j'ai adoré le côté croustillant aussi. Service rapide, prix raisonnable & staff super gentil !
Good sandwich, I love the various options of bread. The feta & spinach sandwich costed around 9$ including tax. They also sell cheap prepared dishes that I have to try one day.
A small, tucked-away restaurant with a great vibe, you could tell everything was freshly made.
I wasn't too hungry, so I ordered small portions just to sample a bit of everything.
The aroma & presentation of the food were amazing!
The person taking my order was attentive & got everything just right. The only thing I would have preferred is for the falafel to be served a bit hotter to bring out its full flavor, but overall, the food quality was excellent.
Prices are slightly higher compared to similar places, but the freshness & care in preparation make it feel worth it.
Repas très copieux & délicieux, accueil très sympa & prix très raisonnable 😊
We had an event in our home hosting 28 people & we decided to serve the food from Trip de Bouffe as it had been highly recommended. The staff was extremely helpful going over the menu with me & deciding on quantities. The food was delivered & it was delicious. We will definitely order from them again for future events. I highly recommend their meat & vegetarian kebbehs.
Incontournable de la rue Mont-Royal! Personnel sympathique & nourriture toujours très bonne! Longue vie à Trip de bouffe!
