Such a cute little Italian spot! It's on a nice corner in Montreal with big windows, so you can sit & enjoy the street view while you eat. The vibe is super chill & cozy, perfect for a casual dinner or even a solo lunch.
The owner is really friendly, you can tell he cares about the place & the people who walk in. & the food? Wow. So good. Everything tasted super fresh & authentically Italian. You can tell it's made with love & not rushed. I'm already thinking about when I can go back.

The pasta sauce omg was like butter - so smooth & tasty & better than the restos that I have went to in Italy. You read correctly, better than the sauce that I've tasted while in Italy.
Not only is the sauce authentic & the best, the pasta, the pizza, the dessert OMG the Tiramisu was heavenly. The Cesar salad was the best I've ever had trust me!
The owner was one of a kind! Anthony, greeted every single customer in the place by shaking their hands & made us all feel so special.
When you want authentic & divine Italian cuisine, look no further than this incredible restaurant!
I can't say enough positive things about this place & the drinks are amazing too!

We went there for a first date & were not disappointed! We tried the arancini (delicious) & the polpete (huge!… great as well) for entrees, two amazing pasta dishes & a great bottle of wine. Really authentic italian food, definitely not your everyday spaghetti. Anthony was there to introduce himself & see us out in the most hospitable, personable way. Friendly service all around. Ordered a Ciro pizza, did not like the apparent Italian sausage nor the Rapini. Some may love it, but the sausage was well below the quality of No. 900 similar pizza. The Rapini is a bizarre component for an Itallian sausage pizza.View more

I used to live in Sicily,& was missing the local flavor,& somehow found this place,OMG!what a gem!food is awesome!real authentic stuff,the service was great,smiley & easy going even though place was extremely busy,the owner as real Italian was there helping,organizing,checking & greeting clients & having real time with them,I moved to Calabria for couple hours!what an unforgettable experience,definitely I ll be back there & all my Italian friends will join me for such amazing & delicious adventure!View more

I have been 3 times since it opened. Every time, the service was excellent, the food delicious & authentic & you could see the passion the owner has in his place. He's friendly, talkative & wants you to have a good time under his roof. The atmosphere is very laidback & authentically Italian. The paninis & pizza are TDF & the coffees savoury. A fun night out! Here's an awesome alternative if you're tired of the Milano's scene... I hope a patio is put out, this would be perfection... a cool Aperol Spritz & a fresh pizza in the sunshine. I wish all the success to the owners & the staff as I'm always excited to see new restaurant open up close to my home, but as a customer, my experience worries me for the success of this new business. The ambiance & the quality of the food served is not in line with the pricing. I will be harsh with this review, but with all the competition & churn in the restaurant business in this neighborhood, I think it is important to be honest & direct. 1. Ambiance: The restaurant looks like a relaxed family restaurant with bright lights, casual decor, a jukebox playing upbeat pop music, pre-grated parmesan cheese & cheap utensils on the table; but it charges premium price for plates & drinks (most of the menu is 25-40$ per plate). It cost us 110$ for 2 pasta plates & 2 cocktails. This clash with the ambiance as prices like this are not kid friendly, while also not being interesting for dates or more mature nights out as the music & lighting are not mood appropriate. 2. Quality of the food: The food was not cooked properly as my pasta were still raw & the cocktails were half full & watered down. The cook probably didn't add salt to the water in which the pasta were cooked as they also tasted bland. The sausage was good, but clearly not worth the 30$ (with taxes & tips). 3. I will also add that the service, while being extremely friendly, was slow & confused. On our way out, one of the wait staff said they wanted to credit us one of the pasta plates since it was undercooked, but our waiter forgot to credit it & we got charged anyways. This is a bit less of an issue as I understand that the restaurant just opened & the staff needs some experience before being more efficient. All in all, I would say that this restaurant has a identity issue. It wants to be family friendly in it's decor & service, but higher end in it pricing. With all the competition in Italian restaurant, specially since we are right next to Little Italy, I think it will be difficult for this restaurant to thrive long term.View more
