Finalement, j'ai décidé d'ouvrir mon propre restaurant " Trattoria Romantica " au coeur de Sainte-Dorothée, Laval. Chers clients, je sais très bien que vous êtes très importants et soyez assuré que mon équipe et moi ferons notre maximum pour satisfaire vos papilles gustatives et vous transporter dans le merveilleux monde culinaire de la haute gastronomie italienne préparée avec des produits authentiques. Pâtes, gnocchi di papà, scaloppini de veau au gorgonzola, ossobuco de veau milanese, côtelettes d'agneau grillés & poisson frais du jour.
Trattoria Romantica impressionne par ses classiques italiens savoureux, un service attentif et une ambiance intime et romantique. Le menu offre de la variété avec des gnocchi, des plats de fruits de mer, de l'ossobuco et des desserts tels que tortufo au chocolat, et une carte des vins qui propose un bon rapport qualité prix au verre. Les convives louent un service sans faille et une ambiance feutrée avec un jazz doux qui rehausse l'expérience culinaire, faisant de cette adresse une valeur sûre pour les rencontres et les soirées spéciales.
My wife & I always wanted to try this Restaurant since we are from Ste. Dorothée. Are we glad we did.
Valentine's Menu was a plus. 3 course meal including warm Italian bread, bruschetta starter, entré, main meal, dessert & cappuccino. No longer bring your own wine, decent price wine by the glass or Italian beer.
The food was amazing. Finger licking good. The restaurant ambiance was perfect. Dim & romantic like the name. Service was good, but I felt like they could have been a bit more present & ready to explain the menu more. Authentic Italian experience but we are in Quebec, googling the menu is less than ideal.
First time here & not last!! Food was excellent & very authentic italian. Compliments to the chef. Veal & osso bucco are a must.! Recommend this place for sure.
Authentic Italian food made by an amazing Italian chef. Super delicious & perfect service. A nice ambiance, not too loud, clean, & nice to chat the night away! Reasonably priced for the quality you are getting! Great for date night with your lover or a friend!
My wife & I chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary, thinking it was a quiet romantic restaurant with good food & soft Italian music in the background as the past reviews stated. Unfortunately, it wasn't:( There was a party of 30, celebrating an engagement & birthday, that were very loud & there was no music in the background. Or maybe there was, but sure couldn't hear anything with all the loud conversations people were having. Besides that, service was very slow...maybe cause of the party. I personnaly think parties should be in a back room or something, Not in the front with other clients. Felt like I was at a wedding with the clinking of glasses to kiss every 20 minutes. Food was good, nothing special. Overall, quite disappointed. Sure miss the old Due Compari restaurant that was there years ago, where the host came around with grappa & limoncello shots & service was impeccable:(

Amazing family style Italian restaurant in the heart of saint dorothee. I have driven by this restaurant & never dined there. Food & service was amazing. Highly recommend
Delicious food, romantic atmosphere, & exceptional staff. I had the pleasure of hosting my bridal shower at Trattoria Romantica in May. Chef Danny & his team provided us with authentic Italian food, & my guests devoured every bit of it. Danny was extremely accommodating & pleasant to work with. I appreciated that he always made time to meet with us prior to the event. He was always available to answer our questions, help us choose a menu, decorate the resto to fit our theme, & make sure our guests enjoyed themselves. Also, the staff was so sweet & attentive. They were pleasant, helpful, & ensured that the event ran smoothly. I truly felt that they were as happy to be there as I was. A truly phenomenal restaurant in every way. I would definitely recommend it for an event or even just a night out for dinner. We will definitely be eating here again. Thank you Danny & staff for everything!
This place is always amazing, I have ordered many things on their menu & it's all fantastic, food is fresh & soo tasty. The tomato sauce is homemade & feels like what my Italian grandparents used to make. Cute little cozy place, a must try

The best casual BYOB Italian restaurant in the entire Montreal region. Superb homemade classic Italian salads, pastas, meats & desserts. Warm & inviting ambiance, like visiting an Italian aunt's home during holiday season. Very relaxed, & very comfortable. Amazing chef, prompt service, be sure to make a reservation for Thurs - Sat as they sell out often those nights!

This is the third time we visit this excellent Italian restaurant. This time we had different invited guests. They found the food well prepared & very good. We ate veal, giant shrimps & Tuna & were all very good. This is one of the best Italian restaurant in Laval. The service was very good. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
