Let me introduce myself. I am Chef Dany. After receiving my degree in Rome, Italy I worked in the best restaurants in Italy and Canada for over 15 years. I finally decided to open my own restaurant "Trattoria Romantica" in the heart of Sainte-Dorothée, Laval. Malheureusement, notre expérience a été ternie par un malentendu sur le prix d'un plat dont les informations transmis en début du repas nous as induit en erreur.
Aucune responsabilité de la part du restaurateur n'a été pris en compte.
Le service à la clientèle est nettement déficient dans ce restaurant.
De plus, il est important de choisir l'emplacement de la table car les lieux ne sont bien isolés sur le plan sonore sans compter une climatisation insuffisante.
Rapport qualité prix, cela ne vaut pas le déplacement.

One of the best BYOW restaurants in both Laval & Montreal. A vast menu including a Table d'aute. Service was very professional from arrival to exit.
My wife & I enjoyed our experience here as a first visit & we will be back again sometime soon,
Bonjour, je suis retourné pour la deuxième fois à ce petit restaurant italien. La cuisine est extraordinaire. Tout est frais & le personnel est d'une gentillesse extrême. Le chef vient même nous voir aux tables à la fin de la soirée, c'est une magnifique touche
This is the third time we visit this excellent Italian restaurant. This time we had different invited guests. They found the food well prepared & very good. We ate veal, giant shrimps & Tuna & were all very good. This is one of the best Italian restaurant in Laval. The service was very good. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Tout était parfait, sauf qu'à partir de 20 hres, un groupe très bruyant est arrivé & nous avons décidé de partir, car c'était intenable, même que certains clients ont demandé à changer de table à cause du bruit intense...seul bémol, car si on s'appelle Romantica, c'était loin d'être romantique...merci
I must say that there is so many possibilities to make this restaurant great. Unfortunately the service, the approach, the way the servers speak to the customers is not adequate. It makes this experience a stressful one. I must say that the food is good but for some of the dishes there was a satisfactory quantity of food, while other plates were had a smaller portion! I would really look at making this food experience a great one for clients with a better & improved client service!

Ce restaurant vaut la peine d'être connu. La nourriture est excellente & le service impeccable. Chaleureuse ambiance.
J'ai noté 4 étoiles au lieu de 5 à cause du niveau de bruit assez élevé & du peu d'espace entre les tables. Aussi, j'ai été déçue que mon dessert préféré n'etait plus disponible, & ce, à 21 hres 30.
