About us

Let me introduce myself. I am Chef Dany. After receiving my degree in Rome, Italy I worked in the best restaurants in Italy and Canada for over 15 years. I finally decided to open my own restaurant "Trattoria Romantica" in the heart of Sainte-Dorothée, Laval. Dear customers, I know how important you are so rest assured that my team and I will do our utmost to meet your expectations and transport you to the delightful world of fine Italian cuisine that is prepared with authentic products. Food is excellent I had the grilled lamb chops cooked to perfection very good flavor. The lamb shank was also excellent. Location little out of the way difficult to find but worth the trip

Pas de salade maison, seulement caesar. Choix de menu limité - pas de pizza. Peut-être envisager des demi-portions pour les entrées. Par contre les gnocchis & l'osseux bucco étaient excellents.

Hier, un peu bruyant, c'est normal le resto était complet. Meilleure lasagne en ville ! Les crevettes gigantesques étaient délicieuses, les pâtes al dente ! Le service était impeccable malgré l'affluence. Bravo !

J'ai pris un jarret de veau & il était excellent ; juste pas tout à fait assez chaud. Les pâtes de ma conjointe était très bonne. & le fait que l'on peut apportez notre vin & bien manger est très attirant. Le seul point négatif est qu'ils servent une salade César très ordinaire (pas tout mangé) avec la table d'hôte au lieu de nous servir une bonne salade italienne maison. La prochaine fois je vais essayé leur lasagne.

This was ou first visit to this restaurant. Meal was delicious, service rapid & BYOW. However atmosphere very loud (saturday evening). Should we return it would be after 8pm or another week night. The terrasse was more quiet & less hot there was no air conditioning Inside the restaurant.
