About us

Let me introduce myself. I am Chef Dany. After receiving my degree in Rome, Italy I worked in the best restaurants in Italy and Canada for over 15 years. I finally decided to open my own restaurant "Trattoria Romantica" in the heart of Sainte-Dorothée, Laval. Dear customers, I know how important you are so rest assured that my team and I will do our utmost to meet your expectations and transport you to the delightful world of fine Italian cuisine that is prepared with authentic products. excellent service, rien a dire sur le personnel, bonne creme de légume à l'entrée, par contre la lasagne, beaucoup trop chère pour ce qu'il y a dans le'bol'. essentiellement beaucoup de sauce tomate tres de base & a peine quelques émincés de pates & de fromage rapé. j'ai du vider un panier a pain a moi seul pour satisfaire ma faim. a moins d'avoir un estomac d'oiseau sans tenir compte du prix....

The best casual BYOB Italian restaurant in the entire Montreal region. Superb homemade classic Italian salads, pastas, meats & desserts. Warm & inviting ambiance, like visiting an Italian aunt's home during holiday season. Very relaxed, & very comfortable. Amazing chef, prompt service, be sure to make a reservation for Thurs - Sat as they sell out often those nights!

Rien à redire. Le service était excellent, notre serveur démontra un bon sens de l'humour bien dosé. Tous & chacun avons grandement apprécié la qualité des repas servis. C'était savoureux & très bien présenté en assiette. Nul doute un endroit à découvrir & à re découvrir. Je le recommande.
