I love Mikes! Every time I come to Montreal I have to get a sub. They don't make subs like this in Toronto. The restaurant was real clean & the service was great & quick. Nice place, bright & clean. The server was pleasant & smiling. I had the Thai poutine which was good. We were able to stay & chat for an hour. You don't feel rushed to leave, as in some similar establishments.View more

Stopped in for a quick dinner & for the first time. Service was prompt & attentive. The first thing we noticed when we entered the restaurant was it smelled like urinal cakes. Sure enough when I went to the washroom there were 4 in each urinal. A little overwhelming as the whole restaurant smelled of them.
Food was what we expected, not amazing but not bad, so average in that aspect. The restaurant was clean & servers were very nice. I remember going to many different “Mike’s” restaurants long ago & this is just not the same. Attention to details & slightly better food quality… even at a slightly higher price, would help this restaurant reach a higher rating. I truly miss these type of diner restos as they seem to be disappearing.View more
