Went to this place expecting a good meal, the only thing I truly enjoyed was the jello. I chose the buffet option so I was the one who plated it, because that is how a buffet works. When I went to pay for my mediocre dinner, I chose to tip nothing because number 1, I plated my own food, number 2, the person who greeted me was not pleasant whatsoever. After I chose my no tip option & paid for my food I was asked by said'server','why no tip?'. I responded in a cordial manner. But i cannot fathom the answer I would've responded with if I hadn't had the patience the deal with such incompetence. The manner, the food, the price, & the grotesque environment is so unfortunate, I feel so genuinely sorry. My condolences for everyone who has suffered this place.

Nous avons été au Tommy de Sherbrooke. Nous étions deux, une seule facture, sur l'heure du midi à 23.99$ chaque. Curieusement, le montant est de près de 61$. C'est parce qu'on nous charge près de 6$ de frais de service! Le service est de nous donner de l'eau à volonté. Tout le reste c'est nous-même qui nous nous servons. La nourriture est parfois excellente (crevettes panées, boeuf bourguigon, soupe Won ton) mais parfois aussi moins bonne & plus pâteuse (petite boule de poulet avec beaucoup de pâte, poulet très panée, Jello qui colle sur la grille à dessert). Tout est étudié pour qu'on mange moins & qu'on boive beaucoup d'eau pour avoir une satiété rapidement. Les eggrolls sont poudrés au BBQ salée, beaucoup de pâtes dans la nourriture, on nous offre beaucoup d'eau, petites assiettes pour ne pas gaspiller, etc. On ne peut pas juste commander de la soupe par exemple car nous sommes obligé de payer à l'avance à l'entrée & c'est le buffet à volonté, rien d'autre. Le personnel est courtois & la nourriture moyenne pour 30.50$ avec pourboire de frais de service obligatoire (J'appelle ça des frais cachés & je me demande même si c'est légal!). Je le conseille une fois, pour vous faire une idée mais pour moi, je sais maintenant à quoi m'attendre & je vais y aller rarement.
J'ai adoré mon expérience. Petit buffet à volonté pas très cher, vous en avez pour votre argent. De plus les repas sont chaud & savoureux 😋. Bon service avec des serveuses sympathique & une ambiance agréable.
Enfin un bon buffet Chinois comme d'antan. commande à emporter & tous les plats étaient chauds & savoureux. SVP ne pas changer nous avons besoin de ce genre de resto à Cowansville.
My first time having the buffet at Tommy Wonton. The food was very good, the egg rolls were filled up & very tasty, the wonton soup very good. The best sweet garlic ribs I have ever had.
