I've been here a few times & always enjoyed the food-it's tasty, & even the coffee is great. However, I think it's important for the staff to take customer feedback more seriously.
Yesterday, I dined in & ordered the Carnivore Eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, there were molds on the fruit that came with my dish. I didn't realize it until I had almost finished eating. When I mentioned it to the staff member who served me, he didn't seem too concerned at first. It took a couple of times repeating it before he acknowledged the issue.
I hope the restaurant can be more careful with food quality in the future. Thank you.View more
My everyday breakfast place to go. Tasty & balanced break fast menu with a coffee. The service was fantastic & friendly.View more
This place was first recommended to me by a trusted friend for coffee. They carry a lot of variety which is evident from their stock. I had gone in for a couple of my friends to grab a hot cup of coffee when I was pleasantly surprised to see their desserts collection. Not a lime/ lemon person, I cautiously tried the lemon cake which was amazingly well balanced. The flat white I went for was good as was the latter my friend opted for : rich in flavor. I'm docking one star for the cheesecake, because on a very personal note, a sour berry compote is what goes better on a cheesecake to balance the sweetness than a jelly. The service was top notch & the staff were super friendly & accommodating.View more
We've been coming here regularly for years & this café has such great quality food, coffee & service. Amazing omelettes, quality ingredients, delicious coffee & their CAKES. When I do feel like treating myself, I come just to have a slice of some chocolatey cheesecake. They even have a great lunch menu with quality sandwiches & salads. I love this place, it feels like home!View more
Excellent coffee & tea, friendly service & lovely terrace!View more
Had the Tuna Salad. I expected fresh tuna, got a giant mushy block of canned tuna, average greens, sad cheese. It was uber-salty, unpleasant, headache-giving. Staff were nice though not exactly warm. Colour me unimpressed. I didn't try the coffee so I'll assume it's good & maybe the pastries too but the place doesn't seem owned or run by people who love it.View more
Great place for coffee, great service. Breakfast food has great ingredients :) Eggs Benedict sauce was bland :View more
We had a lovely experience here a long time ago. So we re-visited. Staffs are very friendly. The outdoor terrace is cute, so pleasant! Coffee ☕ is GREAT ! Egg Benedict was ok Chicken waffles was very sweet. Food could be better but overall was ok. We will definitely come back to try more snacks & dessert!View more
Magnificent cake selection, great coffee, great/cool staff. The interior decoration is not so interesting - perhaps taken over unchanged from the previous owner. Changing the tables to marble cast iron & the chairs to french café style & getting rid of the plastic dark wood veneer counter would do miracles🪄✨ I come here fairly often on my Mile-End walks, & I will continue doing so. Highly recommended ❤️View more
Cute little café bistro, great service! Took the grilled cheese sandwich with caramelized onions & apples & brie - delish! Ans the red cabbage salad with chicken (came with two dressings), also delish. The carrot cake was a generous portion. Easy to get take out, by the way - delicious coffee!! Water was WARM 😐View more
Stopped by this morning to grab some coffee & snacks. The coffee was very good; however, I also got 3 of the breads, & all of them were dry, like they were from the previous day. In addition, I grabbed some of the creamers, & they were spoiled, again probably from the previous day. Note, I stopped by shortly after the opened. They should toss out stale & spoiled food, not try & sell it.View more
It's a long time since our last visit to Toi, Moi & Cafe. We loved it when they were on Notre Dame & at one point they were hoing to open in Verdun. Anyway, the cafe is well-established on Laurier. The interior seemed gloomy but we were seated quickly. The coffee was good, we ordered, & the food arrived promptly. I had the carnivore Benedictine which was very good & exactly what I wanted! The eggs were nicely done & the pulled beef was tasty. The portion size may be on the small side for some people, but that leaves room for cake. The fruit consisted of 4 grapes, a small slice of pineapple, a small slice of melon, & a slice of grapefruit. Anyway, it was fine for what we wanted today.View more

Adorable, cozy local spot! I come here often with friends to sit & chat or to grab a coffee & walk around the Mile End - always a pleasure to swing by!View more
Service was great & the coffee of amazing quality. It's my go-to place when buying Cafe Rico is not an optionView more
Nice cozy place. However. Coffee was not good. Menu not enough diversity if you are a meat loveView more
The coffee is good. I love the giant latte cup. The smoked salmon bagel's bagel was fresh but the salmon tasted fishy. The 80s pop music makes the place feel like an old age home or a Tim Hortons.View more
If you would like to enjoy your evening while having some brunch & coffee, "Toi, Moi & Café Bistro" is the right place. I had a small cafe latte with an apple crumble cake. The coffee & the cake were ok. The cake was a bit dry, though. We also had raspberry cheesecake & pearl almond cake with the mascarpone cheese. The cheesecake was good but the winner was the pearl almond cake with the mascarpone cheese! The unique almondy mascarpone cheese with a nice crust & pearl was a perfectly balanced, well-enough sweet combination.View more
First off, I love the name of the cafe! All our drinks were very well done & you can tell the ingredients & coffee were of quality.View more
Totally wished I took a moment to photograph my dish but I was beyond hungry! They have such a great coffee selection here & have a roastery off location that provides an ongoing supply of freshly roasted beans! The Eggs Benedict on a bagel was delicious! There's something so deliciously savory the way the soft boiled egg, hollandaise sauce & mild Swiss cheese (I'm normally not a fan of Swiss but in this combination it was sublime!) melded with the added taste & texture of the Canadian bacon & the sesame seed bagel! It has an unpretentious vibe & bustling atmosphere & the service was fantastic as busy as they were. I'd have to say this seems pretty commonplace in the way that you are engaged & treated in Montréal as a whole! Btw: my dining companion supplied me with a photo for you to ponder & enjoy!View more
