I had my first visit at Tissy's Bistro with my sister today.
The food was fantastic- I ordered green curry, shares a papaya salad & veggie spring rolls with my sister. Prices were fair, service was quick & friendly.
Unfortunately they did not have many vegan options (the menu says'vegetarian friendly' but many options had fish sauce) so my sister that does not eat egg nor fish. She had a pad Thai & it was okay, but having a curry vegan option would be great!
The food is consistently good. The papaya salad is my fave! I tried the Penang curry today & it was good - I'd order it again. Spring rolls are great! Pad Thai is good but a little dry. I had to add extra lime to loosen it up a bit (noodles were very clumped & stuck together) The downside is that portions are too small for the price. I asked for medium spicy but nothing was spicy at all. I'll try the spiciest option next time. Unfortunately the Tom yum soup wasn't sour or spicy at all (it was creamy & sweet) so I wouldn't order that again. I ordered the tom kha kai soup before & enjoyed that more than the Tom yum.

The most authentic tasting Thai food I've had since Thailand. Mango salad, shrimp pad Thai & green curry so delicious! Don't forget the spring rolls
Don't take very spicy if you can't handle it. Better just add chili flakes on the side & add as needed imo
I saw the great reviews & had to try this place to see if it lived up to the hype 🙌🏻 & it absolutely did. 10/10 for everything.
You order & pay first, then take a seat. We wanted to try a bit of everything, so we got the green curry & pad Thai. The curry was labeled'mild,' but wow 🥵 it was spicy, so just a heads-up! Everything was fresh & full of flavor. There wasn't a single dish we didn't enjoy.
We also had the mango sticky rice 🤯 the portion was generous & it was just perfect. The staff are so kind & attentive. While the place seems really popular for takeout, the dine-in area is cute & the workers make it feel really welcoming.
My only small downside was that the free water had a bit of a strange taste, but it didn't affect the overall experience at all
*Updated* We fell in love with this place the first time we visited a few months ago. It has THE best Thai food we have ever had! So this weekend, we drove to Montreal basically to eat here again. We visited 2 days in a row. My kid devoured the BBQ pork on skewers - ate all 4 & refused to give us any. Next morning, she opened her eyes & said she wanted the pork skewers again for breakfast. I didn't get to try it, thanks to her, but it must be very good. My top picks are Tom Yum & Pad Ka Prow, so amazing especially with the homemade chili/vinegar codiments. I regularly dream about this food. & THE MANGO STICKY RICE!!! Soooooo good. It is the best mango sticky rice I have ever had!! Okay, we really wish this place was in Ottawa but at least they give us a reason to visit Montreal from time to time.
An exciting find nested in Beaconsfield, so happy is near my house that I can enjoy their regular Chicken Pad Thai & Red curry beef on a regular basis! Every bite is packed with flavor & authentic taste!

Ordered a pad thai & a red curry after seeing so many raving reviews about this place.
Love both dishes although the red curry is really spicy.
Nothing fancy, a small modest restaurant that looks like its family run & serves authentic Thai food. A bit steep on the price but I'll encourage that type of place with good food anytime!
It is small though & seems crazy busy on take out during rush hours such as friday 18h00pm so plan ahead!
Absolutely delicious! So glad we discovered this place today. We will definitely come back! Best Thai in the west island by far. It's up there with the likes of Pumpui & Pichai. I had the panang curry & wife had tofu pad Thai.
I'm Thai & I wouldn't order Thai food from anywhere else. Tissy makes the best authentic Thai food! It makes me feel like home 🇹🇭 We have been ordering vegetarian Pad Thai, papaya salad, spring rolls & sticky rice every Friday for months from Tissy's. Highly recommended! Please note that due to shortage of kitchen staff, ordering your food ahead of time is a great idea to reduce your waiting time :)
Most delicious Thai food!! Super fresh & authentic. Our 2 year old loved it also. Owner Tissy is so sweet. Pad thai & cashew chicken were awesome A must try!! 👌
I met a friend for lunch at Tissy's & discovered a gem in the heart of Beaconsfield. Tissy proudly prepares authentic Thai food with the best ingredients & comes over to make sure that you are satisfied. I had the wonderfully spicy Pad Ka Prow Kung. It was delicious. I will go back soon & try some of the other dishes.
Last night we had a spontaneous casual date night at Tissy's Bistro in Beaconsfield sitting al fresco & shared a green mango salad, Tom yum soup, shrimp pad Thai, & a bottle of San Pelligrino. As always, it was beautifully presented, the service friendly, & the food was delicious with bright, fresh flavours & a nice Thai slap of heat. If you haven't been, please know that there are very few tables to eat there, so prepare for a Plan B as most people do take away. There are two 2-top tables out front should you want to enjoy the summer air (as well as some indoor seating). This is our 4th or 5th time here & it's been consistantly delicious & a great go-to West Island spot when craving Thai! - at Tissy's Bistro.

Authentic & delicious Thai food with great service. Can't go wrong! If you like Thai food & live in the West Island, this is an absolute must try. The pad see ew & both curries are our favourites, but we still have a lot more to try! 😋
My son wants to try all different kinds of food. He loves to learn about different cultures & their food. We decided to try tissy & it did not disappoint. We both LOVED it. We had the shrimp pad Thai, the spring rolls, green curry & mango sticky rice it was all delicious. Even more amazing is the staff, those ladies made it feel like home! We will definitely be going back. A must try for the West Island.
Friendly service, fresh ingredients & great flavour. We had the chicken satay with peanut sauce, chicken pad see ew, coconut soup, Thai fried rice & all were delicious.
Delicious, authentic Thai food & very friendly service. We had the chicken pad thai, chicken pad sew & pad kra prow (thai basil pork) - all fresh & tasty. Loved the spice in the pad kra pow, it's my favorite but everything was absolutely yummy! Can't wait to visit again. Try their mango sticky rice. :)
