Dans leur plus récent projet, John Edward Gumbley (Bord’Elle) et l’équipe Jegantic dévoilent une version huppée et rafraîchissante des bars et restaurants exotiques où on définit les saveurs des rives thaïlandaises qui s’effondrent dans les lointaines plages occidentales de la cuisine hawaïenne. une combinaison somptueuse de délicatesses thaïlandaises et hawaïennes. couplant des saveurs familières avec un caractère sophistiqué. C’est notre célèbre et primé chef Athiraj Phrasavath qui présente notre menu qui comprend aussi une section végétalienne, exclusivement concocté par nul autre que le gagnant de MasterChef USA 2017, Dino Angelo Luciano.
Le Farsides introduit non seulement une approche unique dans sa cuisine, mais vise également à surprendre avec une toute nouvelle image du bar Tiki. Notre programme de mixologie comporte une douzaine d’interprétations modernes de cocktails classiques que vous ne vous attendriez normalement à trouver que dans les Îles.
Entrer dans Le Farsides sera comme entrer dans notre version d’une ruelle de Brooklyn circa 1992. Vous apercevrez de géants murs de briques ornés de graffitis, des issues de secours, et croyez-le ou non, notre propre terrain de basket-ball peint à la main. Ajoutez une touche d’exotisme avec une jungle au rythme du hip-pop des années 80 & 90 et des souvenirs nostalgiques de l’âge d’or du rap, et vous voilà chez Le Farsides.

This is my 2nd time at Farsides. My first time was at the old port location. If you are a hip hop R&b lover , the décor & ambiance will hit the spot. We were a party of ~ 20 people that attended for a birthday dinner on a Saturday evening.
Exploring the group menu- for 65$ pp you share appetizers with other guests & then choose your own main course.
Appetizers included Imperial rolls, mango & beef salad as well as crispy chicken wings. All were average but great flavour -well presented. What I did not appreciate , the staff sharing how many portions we can have each . 1 egg roll only pp, 2 chicken wings pp 😂. What are we being served lunch at the cafeteria? Let the guests decide how many portions of an appetizer they want themselves! We shouldn't be told at this price point. We even had leftover appetizers for everyone to take home. Furthermore, we were served a beef slaw to certain members that shared they were vegetarian! The staff seemed young, appeared confused most of the time where the dishes should be served & did not seem to have a proper working knowledge of the menu . I would like to highlight, there was want gentleman that took the time to explain the mixup & apologized to our party for the mixup. He was genuine & his follow-up was appreciated.
To end-I ordered the Thai yellow curry as my main dish-the sauce was very sweet but portions were good. Loved the vegetables were well cooked.
Cocktails were extra but original & great, we tried the Wu-Tangria -a great summer drink. With 15% service-my total came out to 98$.
Would I come back as a local that lives minutes away ? Not for food but maybe for drinks with friends There are a lot of other great options in the Solar Quartier for drinks including the cage, Ryu, Vertigo. As a dine- in venue-there is a lot of room for improvement-especially their service as a team.

La nourriture est excellente (nous avons pris le boeuf braisé & le pas thaï)!! Les cocktails sont incroyables! Le restaurant est super beau & l'ambiance avec nice avec le DJ !

Nous avons pris chacun un cocktail'ShookOne'. C'était délicieux. Fruité & alcoolisé à souhait... ❤?
Les entrées étaient vraiment très bonnes. Ma conjointe a pris une salade aux mangues & moi les rouleaux impériaux. Je vous avouerais qu'on a goûté chacun à l'entrée de l'autre également. 😅
J'ai pris en repas principal Steak Frites Surlonge AAA & ma conjointe un Pad Thaï Poulet. Tous les deux avons adoré le repas ainsi que le super service de notre serveur Hisham. 👍
C'est à refaire, c'est certain. 👌🏻

Nice ambiance & decor, good for big groups. Apart from that, the food just doesn't fit with my palate; the tofu sautee dish, burger with pineapple sauce, pad thai, all of them were way too sweet. None of us finished our plate. The rice was hard like reheated. The waiter completely forgot my drink order & when asked, he answered:'did you order with me?' uh maybe you should take a pad to take notes next time. Stars for the atmosphere, not the food 🤷🏽?♀?

La nourriture fusion Thaï est tellement bonne je recommande les ailes, la salade de mangue, le saumon & la viande wow. Le drink à la mangue est 10/10 ! Je recommande vraiment cette place en plus avec la bonne musique ☺?

Salut hier soir nous sommes été à votre restaurant thaï pour notre première fois & pour être franc on a été déçu.. le pokebowl avec des coupe très grossiere & chaque ingrédient était de taille différente qui se mangeait mal & même la présentation était comme si je me fesait sa en semaine chez moi & je sais pas si c'est normal mais il n'y avait aucune sauce sur le decu, pour le tao à l'ananas était loin d'être comme les photos mise soit sur Facebook ou Google. Mettons que les présentation laissait à désirer surtout pour les prix payer on s'attend à une présentation qui ne semble pas être fait par un nouveau cuisinier de remplacement . Pour ce qui est du pas thaï au crevette sa avait l'air garocher. Bref tout les plat on a reçu , me semblait sortir d'un restaurant basique.

My date wanted to check this place out. Really cool urban/hip hop/90s decor. I wonder if they ever actually play basketball in there. The soundtrack reflected this, which was soft at first, but a DJ started spinning & it got a bit louder. Very hip atmosphere, definitely a bougie Instagrammer kind of place. The food is Asian-inspired fusion. My +1's poke was basically a tartare. Very tasty, but very small portion. She ordered a side of veggies which she also enjoyed. My Pad Thai was fine, but not particularly spectacular. Maybe a bit too adapted to North American tastes, sweeter than what I'm used to. But the portion size was good. We split the chocolate lava cake, which was unfortunately overcooked, so it was basically cake. Service was great, very friendly. I'll agree with most of the other reviews here, this isn't a cheap night out, considering the menu is highly inspired by Asian street food. If you're having cocktails, or a bottle of wine, you're looking at 100 bucks per person. Seems to be par for the course in the DIX30 district.

On est venu au Farsides par pur hasard & sincèrement pas du tout déçu. La nourriture incroyable, nous avions pris les brochettes de poulet, la salade de mangue, le pad thaï, le tao à l'ananas & le boeuf braisé. Tous incroyable mais si j'ai un plat à vous recommander c'est le boeuf braisé! Un 10 étoiles pour le service exceptionnelle, notre serveur Jeremy était super! Pour l'ambiance c'est une ambiance assez jeune, avec de la musique quand même assez forte, donc à prendre en compte!

Food was mid Drinks are delicious Service was bad Very overpriced for the quality When we arrived, the service was prompt & very nice. The waitress took time to explain some items to us & our waters were being refilled quickly. Our drinks (a$ap strawberry & ginger one) were amazing. Our appetizer was also delicious, the crispy pork belly. But our good experience ended there. The pad Thai was very underwhelming for 30$. The "ribeye", which was ordered rare, came out medium/well. I put ribeye in quotation marks because we believe it was a new-york cut. The shape & the lack of fat on the meat were not indicative of a ribeye in any way. For 60$, this was insanely disappointing. We might have said something to our waitress, but she basically disappeared to take care of some bottle service with a group in the back of the restaurant. We (two people) were there for 1:30, while the table next to us who was 4 people with multiple drinks & 3 services, arrived after us & left well before us. They had a different waitress than us. To leave, we had to ask the hostess if we could please have our bill since we had been waiting with finished plates for 15-20min with no service. The waitress from the table next to us (with the patrons now gone), offered very nicely to bring us our check. We were very grateful & accepted. Before she could do so, our original waitress came to see us & said she would bring the bill asap. But asap seems to mean something different because she, again, seem to go to the back of the restaurant & we had to wait some more. Overall, we might have liked to come back with friends even if the food was mid due to the nice ambiance & good drinks, but we will definitely NOT be back due to the bad service.

The place is beautiful. I'd describe it as a hip hop chic. There is a DJ in the evening & the music was great. The atmosphere is on point no doubt about that. The service was also good. The man who took care of our table was kind, friendly & authentic. The cocktails & food, I hate to say, was a huge let down. Also extremely over priced. We ordered the Mango Salad & although it was fresh it was bland. Then we had the Imperial Rolls & same thing , bland no flavour. We followed that up with the Pineapple Tao. Guess what ? Fresh but ... you guessed it , tasteless. We then ended with Thai Basil Rib Eye. This was probably the best dish we had. Steak was cooked to perfection. But the chimichurri & red curry to accompany the steak, I hate to be repetitive, was lifeless. No flavour. The cocktails were alright. Nothing wow. We had the Mango Ginger Smash & Thaiwaiian Gin Tonic. So if your looking to hang out in a beautiful spot, with good music, & overpaying for fresh but mediocre tasting food & ok cocktails, Farsides is for you.

Repas plus qu'ordinaire pour le prix 235$. Les entrées : porc était trop cuit (je me suis un peu fait mal au palais), ailes de poulet ok. Le tao était overcook ce qui fait en sorte que le poulet est très très dure. Le fish n chips. Assiette normale avec deux bâtonnets de poisson & un salade de choux en plus de frites McDo. Présentation de cantine. Pad thaï, nouilles sec manquait de sauce & pogné en mottons. Les boissons sont très bonnes. L'endroit est agréable dans son ensemble & le personnel est très serviable & gentil.

Nice decor. Great vibe. Good drinks. However, the food is mediocre. The pad thai was expensive & tasted bad. The poke was not a poke bowl. It was more like a tartare. The chicken wings were very tasty. Service was excellent. Our waitress Amélie was very friendly.

Quelle belle expérience culinaire ! Il faut en profiter & partager les plats! Le faux filet, le porc, le pad thai sont des incontournables. J'oubliais le gâteau au fromage à la mangue! Enjoy!

Bon dans l'ensemble. Le Tao à l'ananas servi dans un ananas braisé m'a particulièrement marqué. Très bon avec sa présentation soignée. Le Pad Thaï est bien proportion & peu convenir une personne. Le Saumon Glacé au Tamarin m'a aussi marqué par son jeu de texture. Très agréable pour ma part. Légère déception pour les 2 rouleaux de printemps à 14$ avant taxes par contre. Je m'attendais à quelques choses d'un peu plus grand, pas de deux rouleaux de la taille d'un petit doigt. La salle offre un bon potentiel pour l'ambiance, & nous reviendrons pour voir celle-ci avec une salle plus remplie dans le futur!

What a beautiful restaurant with old school memorabilia everywhere & graffiti art on all the walls. The employees are very friendly & knowledgeable of the menu. The bartender made killer drinks. I had the Thaiwaiian Gin Tonic & The Don Dada. The mango salad was tasty & had a lot flavor. The presentation was beautiful that it was almost a shame to destroy it. I went on a Friday & they had a live DJ that was playing old school hip hop & R&B which brought back good vibes & memories. If you want to have a good time, good drinks & amazing food, well you need to go Farsides in Brossard

Went for an early supper (group of 4) on their soft opening. Great atmosphere & service. We shared the Malibu sangria which was good, & I had the pad Thai which was mediocre. Both were absurdly overpriced. But the CHICKEN WINGS (if you like big, breaded, crispy, & saucy wings) are some of the best I have ever had. If I were to go back, it would only be for wings & music.
