About us
Brought to you by John Edward Gumbley (Bord’Elle) and the Jegantic team, the Farsides is an edgy new take on the restaurant and bar scene. Our blend of culinary styling sets the exotic far eastern flavours of Thailand’s shores crashing into the far Western Beaches of Hawaiian cuisine. The result of this fusion is something we like to call Thaiwaiian. A sumptuous combination of authentic Thai and Hawaiian delicacies, merging familiar flavours with elevated function.
Not only do we consider the Farsides to be a unique take on cuisine, we also aim to please with a brand new re-imagining of the Tiki bar concept. Our mixology program features no less than a dozen modern interpretations of classic cocktails you would normally only expect to find on the Islands.
Stepping into the Farsides will be like walking into our version of an alleyway in Brooklyn circa 1992. Complete with brick walls as high as the eye can see, fire escapes, graffiti laced facades and believe it or not our very own hand painted basketball court. Add a touch of the exotic with jungle like overgrowth set to the beat of 80’s & 90’s hip pop and nostalgic memorabilia from the golden age of rap and what you’ll find is The Farsides.

J'ai testé Farside Brossard, & honnêtement, l'expérience était correcte. La nourriture & les cocktails étaient acceptables.
L'ambiance est correcte. Serveuse attentive mais manque un peu d'expérience
Petit point moins pratique : le stationnement est un peu difficile, surtout aux heures de pointe, ce qui peut rapidement devenir un irritant quand tu veux juste te détendre.

Beau restaurant, belle ambiance, bon service, seul bémol est la nourriture , le Poké bowl (qui est en réalité un tartare) est un plats principaux mais devrais être une entrée car c'est miniature & décevant. L'entrée de rouleaux devrais être un side à 5$ & non une entrée à 12$ , 2 rouleaux mis dans une petite assiette that's it 🤣 aucune présentation . Bref ce sont les 2 plats à ne pas prendre car c'est déceptionView more

Where do we start? We already knew that JEGantic had taken over the Night Life scene in Montreal, but with this new jewel guess the South Shore is right around the corner. Personnally, this branch is way cuter & cozier than the Montreal one; there's something about it that makes it less'corporate'. The food never dissapoints; my favorite is the Mango salad which definitely satiates an Asian palate. & let's not forget the impeccable & always consistent service given by Miléna; she makes the ride so enjoyable & worth coming back for more.View more

Had to come back to change my review unfortunately
I had lunch from here a few weeks ago & the portions were great even though 30$ can feel steep for lunch it was worth it, the food was great & the staff were super nice.
I reordered food from here again recently & this time the portion was almost half of what it was the first time (literally a different smaller container for the main dish & half of the portion for the appetizer dish). Staff were still nice & food was still good but the portions just don't make sense for the price anymore. I'm guessing its because they are struggling with getting clients in the door for lunch & are cutting costs which I understand. I hope they're able to figure it out & get busier because the food is great, the service is great & the place is beautiful but unfortunately won't be ordering takeout again with the new halved portions.
Still I recommend people come try their food it's really good if you're going to spend 30$ on the nearby generic restaurants come try this place.View more

J'y suis allée deux fois, de soir & un midi. Le service est très bien, poli (bémol la première fois ils se sont trompé de drink & me l'ont offert gratuitement mais la serveuse appuyait un peu trop sur le fait que c'était gratuit, j'avais déjà l'intention de donner un bon pourboire). La musique est vraiment bonne. La formule midi vaut le coût, 29$ pour entrée & repas. J'ai hâte d'y retourner!View more

Salut hier soir nous sommes été à votre restaurant thaï pour notre première fois & pour être franc on a été déçu.. le pokebowl avec des coupe très grossiere & chaque ingrédient était de taille différente qui se mangeait mal & même la présentation était comme si je me fesait sa en semaine chez moi & je sais pas si c'est normal mais il n'y avait aucune sauce sur le decu, pour le tao à l'ananas était loin d'être comme les photos mise soit sur Facebook ou Google. Mettons que les présentation laissait à désirer surtout pour les prix payer on s'attend à une présentation qui ne semble pas être fait par un nouveau cuisinier de remplacement . Pour ce qui est du pas thaï au crevette sa avait l'air garocher. Bref tout les plat on a reçu , me semblait sortir d'un restaurant basique.View more

Servi par Mélina, agréable, à reoond à toutes nos questions aisément.
Connais son menu & accommodante pour nos demandes.
Un endroit que j'ai adoré pour le décor particulier.
J'ai pris le faux-filet.
Cuisson parfaite que j'ai demandé.
Nous n'avons ja.ais eu besoin de chercher la serveuse. Elle revenait souvent pour s'assurer de remplir nos verre & que l'on manque de rien.
