Terraza Luz

On Saturdays during the summer season (May to October), we open our taqueria, Terraza Luz. We serve three different types of tacos, all on tortillas made from freshly nixtamalized heirloom corn masa, pressed to order. The sun is shining, the music is playing.

No reservations — it’s “first come, first served.” The line is known to wind through the alley between Champagneur and Bloomfield. We serve mezcalitas, margaritas, cold beer, lemonade — and atole when the weather starts to cool down.
