Located on the 8th floor of the William Gray Hotel, Terrasse William Gray is the place to be to soak up the summer season. With a breathtaking view of Place Jacques-Cartier, the St. Lawrence River and Montreal’s Ferris wheel, our terrace offers refreshing summer wines, cocktails, beers and delicious sharing platters. The terrace is heated and equipped with retractable awnings to ensure our guest's comfort during cooler days.

The view alone makes this place worth visiting. We went when the weather was nice & ended up staying longer than planned. Definitely one of those places where you just want to sit, have a drink, & enjoy the moment.

Unfortunately, our brunch experience was disappointing overall.

We ordered the chicken & waffles, but the portion was quite small & there was very little chicken. The beef also tasted stale & not fresh, & the eggs Benedict were far too runny for our liking. The smoothie was quite tasteless as well.

What also concerned us was how quickly the food arrived. Our order came out in less than five minutes, which made us question whether everything had been freshly prepared.

The waitress was okay, but she wasn't around very often even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy.

They offered us a complimentary drink, but at the end we were still charged for everything. That made the gesture a little confusing, especially considering our overall experience.

The best part was definitely the view, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, the food quality, portions, & service didn't match the setting or our expectations.

5 stars all around here - this was one of the best restaurant experiences i've ever had. the food was delicious for all four of us. the 8oz steak in particular was one of the best i've ever had cooked to a perfect medium rare. the service was fast & exceptional! they were super friendly & great about keeping our waters full. we visited for a birthday & they knew from our intital reservation to bring a cake out without us even asking, free of charge. the rooftop terrace had amazing views, but bring a jacket because it got windy for us! not cheap, but reasonably priced for what it is. go visit!

Aside from the food & cocktails exceeding our expectations, our server, Vincent, was so accommodating. He went above & beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent service, beautiful views & great food.

Amazing experience!

Every member of staff treats you really well, no matter if your here for coffee or a meal, you have amazing treatment. The food is great, drinks too, affordable & the service is impressively fast for the amount of people inside.
Really big thanks to the waiters & bartenders for the amazing service :)
