With a breathtaking view of Place Jacques-Cartier, the St. Lawrence River and Montreal’s Ferris wheel, our terrace offers refreshing summer wines, cocktails, beers and delicious sharing platters. The terrace is heated and equipped with retractable awnings to ensure our guest's comfort during cooler days.

Très belle expérience sur la terrasse de l'hôtel William Gray, une des plus belles de Montréal. Toute une expérience en hiver avec les dômes, qui nous permettent de souper à l'extérieur avec une vue incroyable. Le repas d'hiver en 5 services est très bien composé, les produits sont de très bonne qualité, c'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Une attraction en soi.
L'été, la terrasse est tout aussi magique. Très bon choix de cocktails, originaux & à des prix raisonnables.
La planche de charcuteries & fromages est excellente, & copieuse pour 2, avec de bons produits & de bonnes idées de condiments. Les frites maison à la truffe sont à recommander, & le reste du menu très qualitatif
Service impeccable, personnel souriant & disponible.

Nous avons eu l'occasion d'avoir un dôme pour deux personnes avec une de leur offre. Le dôme était parfaitement placé & la vue était vraiment belle !
Le menu était assez classique mais très bien réalisé. La sauce du canard était très bonne.
Le service était au rendez-vous. Notre serveur Vincent a été très attentif sans être trop présent. Gros shout out à toi Vincent ! Le dôme offre une ambiance plus intime & moins bruyante.
Le paiement total de la facture pour pouvoir réserver est over the top. De plus, il calcule le pourboire sur le total avec taxe.
Sinon, c'était une très belle expérience. Je recommande grandement
** Expérience dans les dômes sur la terrace en hiver. ** Tout était délicieux ! Spécialement le tartare de boeuf & les pétoncles. Tout était très bon, mais ça c'était MALADE ! Une vue incroyable sur le Vieux-Port de Montréal. Le service a été absolument impécable & efficace. Un gros merci pour tout. C'est assurément à refaire.

In winter they have these little bubble tents set up where you can only sit in if you have a reservation & opt for a $60 3 course meal. Food seemed good but we elected to sit at the bar area under the heaters.
We visited TerrasseWilliam Gray to celebrate a special birthday & brought our own cake to make it more personal. The view was absolutely beautiful - truly the highlight of the experience - & the ambiance is very Instagram-worthy.
I completely understand that it's $69 per person, so the final bill wasn't surprising. However, based on what's presented on Instagram, we expected a more elevated & abundant setup. In reality, the table felt quite minimal, with smaller portions & limited variety. It wasn't necessarily bad - just not the high-end experience we were expecting, which was a bit disappointing.
The morning sun was also quite strong, which made it slightly uncomfortable at times despite the lovely scenery.
On a positive note, I truly want to mention the receptionist downstairs - he was incredibly kind, welcoming, & professional. He genuinely made a great impression & added warmth to the experience.
Overall, it's a beautiful place with a stunning view & kind staff, but in terms of presentation & overall'wow' factor, it didn't fully live up to our expectations.

The meal was exquisite, surpassed only by our server David. The view exceeded expectations & the snow globe made the experience even more magical. 10/10 recommend
Un déjeuner délicieux & original dans un dôme douillet. Un service professionnel & courtois par David. Nous avons passé un super moment. Je recommande 😍👍

Excellente expérience Brunch dans le dôme, tout était parfait. Nous avons adoré l'ambiance intime, la vue, la nourriture & l'excellent service de Clément qui était très sympathique & souriant. Nous recommandons fortement !
We visited Terrasse William Gray as tourists around 2:00 pm, hoping to enjoy a couple of drinks & the view from their igloos. Upon arrival, we were told that the only option available was a fixed 5-course'experience' priced at $120 per person, & that we would not be seated in the igloos with a view. Instead, the only igloo offered was located at the back of the restaurant, with no view (although it did have a fire pit).
Since we had just finished lunch & didn't feel we would enjoy a full tasting menu, we decided to make a reservation for the evening instead. For dinner, the price increased to $170 per person, before taxes, & required full payment upfront to secure the table - again, for the same igloo without a view. Despite our hesitation, we went ahead & booked it to experience what the restaurant had to offer.
About 30 minutes after leaving the restaurant, we realized we wouldn't make it back in time due to sightseeing in the area & called to cancel. We were informed that the payment was non-refundable, which was disappointing.
When we arrived later that evening, the table was ready, & the staff was genuinely friendly & welcoming. Unfortunately, the experience fell short when it came to the service & food. Our server was unable to answer basic questions about the menu, which made us feel they were not very familiar with it. The food itself was nicely presented but ultimately forgettable - nothing stood out or felt worth the high price.
In the end, we paid around $700 for dinner for four, & it was not an experience we truly enjoyed. While the ambiance & location are beautiful, the pricing, rigid policies, & underwhelming food made this feel more like a tourist trap than a memorable dining experience.
Terrasse William Gray delivered an absolutely flawless New Year's Eve experience. The service was exceptional from start to finish, & Mauricio truly made the night unforgettable & perfectly timed in every way. The atmosphere, pacing, & overall execution of the evening were spot on. An amazing way to ring in the new year! It couldn't have been better!
