Loved Terrasse Place d'Armes. It's on top of a hotel in Old Port with a great view & a really nice summer vibe. The drinks & food were solid, & having DJs adds to the overall ambience. I had the calamari & the cheese & charcuterie board, & both were amazing. Easily one of my favorite cheese boards I've had in Montreal.

Come for the view not the food. Well, we had burger & chips (frys over here). My Burger was lukewarm but after driving all day i would eat anything, but the wife's was cold. They took it away & the second one was lukewarm to. The burgers were bland & tasteless, the chips (frys) were re-cooked & so crispy they were like warm crisps (chips overhere). The beer came in a can & cost $10 each add the burgers & tax total $101 (£54). I know Canada is expensive for visitors from the UK but we can get two steak dinners, desserts, & wine for less. The view is great, the food is not
Had a little girl's day on the terrace & it was wonderful! They originally seated us on the far side, but were quick to accommodate us when we asked to move to a different view & did so with no hassle. I loved that you could order just a half-order of the beef or tuna tartare as we just wanted a little nibble before our dinner reservation elsewhere. The bubbles were cold & flowing, service was fantastic & attentive & the vibes were vibing :) I recommend booking a reservation as it's often booked out, especially on beautiful days!
Not only was the atmosphere amazing, Tristan was even better. He is an amazing server & took care of us as if we were a part of his family. I would recommend anyone who is in Montreal to check out this place. You cannot beat amazing service & the rooftop views of the city we saw!

Found this through a TikTok recommendation. Went at 7pm on a Monday night & it was lovely with barely any open seats. View was meh, but vibe was great! Had a yummy Caesar salad with chicken that was lovely!
Great spot for drinks with an amazing view of the city. The vibe was relaxed & the location is perfect. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a rooftop in Montreal.
Obviously the view is great, & the location. But I must underscore the wonderful service from Julien & Tristan who made our night. So kind, friendly & hospitable. Food was delicious too. Highly recommend.
The view of this terrasse is beautiful! The stairs to get up there are quite scary . The food was ok nothing special. You definitely come here for a great view & atmosphere. The cocktails were great. Service was ok, i think terrasse aim more on the vibe than anything else, but overall great.
Beeeeeeeautiful rooftop terrace! The views are spectacular especially at sun set! The menu is a bit small, we didn't think there was much choice. The food was very tasty- but a bit on the smaller portion size. One person had the burger & gave it 2/5stars. We were expecting a really nice fresh burger- it seemed like it may have been just a frozen patty that was cooked. Fries were delish! We would go back though! Service was great- very attentive. We did make a reservation. The place fills up. Overall we had a great time!
