Had a little girl's day on the terrace & it was wonderful! They originally seated us on the far side, but were quick to accommodate us when we asked to move to a different view & did so with no hassle. I loved that you could order just a half-order of the beef or tuna tartare as we just wanted a little nibble before our dinner reservation elsewhere. The bubbles were cold & flowing, service was fantastic & attentive & the vibes were vibing :) I recommend booking a reservation as it's often booked out, especially on beautiful days!

Quelle soirée extraordinaire à la Terrasse Place d'Armes !
Certainement la plus belle terrasse de la ville avec une vue à couper le souffle, bien accueillis par une équipe attentive, aux petits soins, surtout Tristan notre serveur qui a su nous conseiller avec professionnalisme & goût.
La nourriture était très bonne avec un menu varié & différent de ce qu'il se fait ailleurs. Sans parler des cocktails & des barmans qui sont eux aussi au top !
Vraiment une belle expérience, je ne peux que recommander !

Beeeeeeeautiful rooftop terrace! The views are spectacular especially at sun set! The menu is a bit small, we didn't think there was much choice. The food was very tasty- but a bit on the smaller portion size. One person had the burger & gave it 2/5stars. We were expecting a really nice fresh burger- it seemed like it may have been just a frozen patty that was cooked. Fries were delish! We would go back though! Service was great- very attentive. We did make a reservation. The place fills up. Overall we had a great time!
My 1st time here & I wasn't disappointed! The food was great, 2 of us had the sea bass, it was delicious, another had the chicken. The service was amazing due to the fact Tristan our server took very good care of us! He was funny, engaging & attentive. Overall a wonderful experience!

I recently visited a terrace Place D'Armes that offered a lovely atmosphere with a breathtaking view of downtown Montreal & the CHUM hospital. While the overall experience was pleasant, there were several aspects worth noting. **Menu & Food Quality:** The menu at this terrace is notably limited when it comes to food options. The dishes available are somewhat pricey, & the portion sizes don't quite match the cost. The quality of the food is average, & nothing particularly stands out. This place is not ideal if you're seeking a culinary adventure or a filling meal. **Drink Selection:** On the flip side, the drink menu is extensive & caters to a wide range of tastes. I tried the Basilique, which unfortunately fell short with its weak lemon & basil flavor. **Service:** Service here is quite satisfactory & notably fast. The staff are attentive & ensure that you have what you need without long waits. **Atmosphere:** The terrace truly shines with its ambiance. The view of downtown Montreal & the CHUM hospital is lovely, making it a great spot to relax & enjoy the surroundings. It is recommended to visit in the afternoon rather than during hot, sunny weather to fully enjoy the place. Also, making a reservation is advisable since it can get quite busy. **Accessibility:** Parking is challenging in this area, so it's better to use public transportation, particularly the subway, to reach the terrace easily. **Overall:** Overall, this terrace is okay & best suited for those looking to enjoy a drink with friends or family. The view & drink selection are the main attractions, while the food & parking situation leave room for improvement.😀
Wonderful evening at terasse places d'armes! Tristan our waiter was super charismatic, attentive & knowledgeable on the menu. I ordered a burrata salad despite not liking tomatoes & the chef Dom assured me that he could make it just as tasty without the tomatoes. Definitely recommend this terasse! :)
Five stars all the way! The cocktails are simply delicious, expertly crafted with a perfect balance of flavours. The ambiance is unbeatable, with stunning views. The staff are attentive & friendly, making sure every moment is memorable. This place is a must visit & I can't wait to come back for more!
