First time visiting Montreal & we decided to check out Terrasse Nelligan, definitely a great choice! It was a bit chilly out, but the vibe on the terrasse was still really nice. My wife & I had some awesome cocktails & the service was great & the price very reasonable. The valet Masta was very polite & funny, which made the whole experience even smoother from the moment we arrived.

mis 5 étoiles c'est grace à Luca le serveur, il est pince-sans rire, amusant tout en restant professionnel. J'ai rarement eu autant de plaisir sur une terrasse.

Ce que j'ai aimé : Thomas & ses cocktails foufou el artistooo, Lucas le service à la hauteur de sa beauté ( = mannequin ), ensuite que dire du mr en costard : Alonzo alias Papi... muchas gracias ! Anyway je reviendrai, très bonne terrasse.. un peu trop de guêpes par contre...
Encore une très belle visite sur cette terrasse, mention spéciale pour le service Lucas notre serveur ainsi que Thomas pour les cocktails & Alonzo pour son rôle de supervision !!
Nous avons passé une excellente soirée à la terrasse Nelligan. Le cadre est magnifique & l'ambiance très agréable, mais ce qui a rendu l'expérience vraiment exceptionnelle, c'est le service. Louise, notre serveuse, a été incroyable : charmante, attentionnée & toujours souriante. Grâce à elle, notre soirée a été parfaite du début à la fin. Un grand merci ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
Bon service, assiette généreuse (charcuterie & olive), petite carte de cocktails mais sympathique. Belle terrasse, tres venteux par contre (bord du fleuve)

Une soirée à la Terrasse Nelligan vraiment sympa, la vue est dingue & merci à notre serveur Fred pour sa gentillesse, son humour & son service impeccable!!
We came here for dinner & had the chance to enjoy the full sunset - the view & atmosphere were absolutely amazing! 🌇 Terrasse Nelligan is definitely one of the best spots in the city for drinks, the cocktails & appetizers were both excellent & really set the mood.
That said, I wouldn't strongly recommend it for dinner if you hungry. We ordered beef, but unfortunately had to wait more than 30 minutes for the main course, which was a bit disappointing.
Other than the long wait, everything else was great. I would still highly recommend coming here, especially to watch the sunset with a drink in hand - it's a beautiful & memorable experience.
My sister & I had a wonderful experience last week at Terrasse Nelligan. Our server, Malak, was especially delightful, friendly, & helpful! We enjoyed the terrace atmosphere, a delicious salad, & a St. Germaine cocktail (which was new to us) recommended by Malak . I highly recommend Terrasse Nelligan!
La Terrasse Néligant a été une magnifique découverte. La nourriture était absolument délicieuse, chaque plat parfaitement préparé & plein de saveurs. Rien à redire : tout était maîtrisé du début à la fin.
Mais ce qui rend l'expérience vraiment spéciale, c'est l'atmosphère. La terrasse est joliment aménagée & idéale. Que ce soit pour un repas entre amis ou un moment plus intime, on s'y sent bien.
Le service aussi mérite d'être souligné : professionnel, attentionné, toujours avec le sourire. L'endroit est impeccable, propre, & tout est pensé pour qu'on passe un bon moment.
Une adresse à retenir - & à revisiter sans hésitation.

We went to Terrasse Nelligan in the Old Port for one of my girlfriend's birthday brunch to start off our day, & it was such a great choice. The atmosphere was amazing with beautiful views over the Old Port, & our waitress was so sweet & attentive. We all had the Purple Haze drink, which has a hint of lavender, & it was absolutely incredible-I would honestly go back just for that drink.
Two of us had the lobster roll, which was next level - so fresh, buttery, & flavorful, easily the star of the meal. Two of us had the Nelligan burger with cherry marmalade, which was good & a solid classic, but definitely didn't compare to the lobster roll. One of us had the roasted butternut squash, which was delicious & comforting, & we also tried the shrimp bao buns, which were super tasty as well. We shared a cheesecake for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending.
The views here are gorgeous, & on a nice sunny day, it's the perfect place for brunch or lunch. They also have valet, which is super convenient in the Old Port. Overall, Terrasse Nelligan is 100% worth visiting, especially for the lobster roll, the Purple Haze drink, & the beautiful summer vibes. Can't wait to go back!
Terrasse Nelligan was okay, the food was a little bland & their water is lukewarm. The service was good, but very slow. My table ordered the oysters (very good, 7.5/10) the tuna tartare (7/10), truffle parm fries (8/10), the katsu chicken sando (very dry, chicken tastes like frozen food, it wasn't katsu it was nuggets, sauce is only on top so the bread is very dry & it's not very pleasant when you try to eat it; 4/10), the salade niçoise (5/10, the tuna tasted weird, the rest didn't really taste like anything) & finally the shrimp bao (6/10). As for the drinks we had strawberry mojitos, they were good. Overall, it was an ok experience, I wouldn't recommend this place for their food, but it's a nice spot for pictures.
I've been coming to this terrasse for years now & always have an enjoyable time. The drinks are creative & well-made, & while the food portions are on the smaller side, the quality is consistently good.
Unfortunately, on our last visit, the experience was disappointing. The terrasse was clearly overbooked, with tables packed so tightly together that we had to physically move our table just to get to the washroom. We had no privacy whatsoever, & it was difficult to maintain a conversation without being distracted by the neighbouring tables' conversations, given the close proximity-barely even an arm's length away. The overall guest experience definitely suffered as a result. Space optimization is important, but not at the expense of guests' comfort & enjoyment.
