Je prend le temps de rédiger ce commentaire, car les peu de fois que nous nous présentons, moi & ma femme lors d'une soirée sans enfant, nous avons toujours un excellent service & une excellente ambiance avec l'équipe derrière le bar. Lorsque nous nous présentons, nous avons toujours la chance d'avoir le service avec M. Paul. Toujours prêt à nous proposer des nouveaux cocktails, Toujours prêt à nous faire de belles découvertes, & non seulement les boissons, mais aussi la bonne énergie qui vient avec cela. Vous souhaitez passe une belle soirée avec une bonne ambiance musique & avec un très bon service qualité prix sur l'alcool, vous êtes au bon. Nous mettons la note par personne entre 30 à 40 $, vu que nous prenons plus qu'un verre chacun.
Je suis habitué à aller à ce bar quand je suis à mon montreal. La dernière fois, le serveur m'a confisqué mon télé car je sortais fumer une cigarette avec mon amie,(Je paie par téléphone) & quand je lui demandé pourquoi il m a répondu qu il est chez lui & sa loi (tu regarde beaucoup de film bro) . Le monde est devenu dingue . Y en que des bars à montreal si il le sais pas
Honestly one of the best bars in Montréal - no question about it! The atmosphere is always perfect, whether you're there for a chill night or a wild one. But what really makes Midway special is the people. The staff is absolutely incredible - from the manager to the bartenders, servers, & even the busboys. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home.
They actually remember their customers, greet you by name, & treat you like a friend, not just a face in the crowd. It's rare to find that kind of genuine care & consistency these days. The service, the energy, the smiles - everything feels personal & authentic every single time.
Huge thank you to the whole team for always bringing that good vibe & making every visit a good memory. You guys make Montréal proud! 🍻
While exploring Montreal over the weekend, we stumbled upon Midway, not once, but twice during a bit of spontaneous bar hopping. It wasn't on our radar; we just happened to wander in while strolling down Saint Laurent Blvd. From the moment we walked in, there was a vibe. The bartenders felt like old friends- laughing, joking, & welcoming everyone with ease. As luck would have it, we arrived during the bar's birthday weekend, so the place was buzzing with celebration.
What made it truly memorable wasn't just the drinks or the music, but the people behind the bar. They were genuine, chatty, & even gave us a list of other local gems to check out. Their energy was contagious - we had a great time because they were clearly having a great time.
Montreal is a city full of character, & if you're lucky, you'll find yourself in a place like Midway where you don't just grab a drink, you feel like you belong.

This is an absolutely beautiful bar & great place for billiards / pool & beer.
The staff were all so incredibly nice. The beer they recommended was delicious, & the pool area was nice & & secluded from the rest of the bar. The one downside to the pool table is that it is near the washrooms.
The atmosphere is what elevates this bar as a spot to recommend. See the pictures for an idea, but the music selection fits the art deco vibe they have going perfectly in my opinion.
Other than the price of the beers which was a bit high, this is definitely a bar worth going to if you can afford it.
La musique, surtout country & autres, était vraiment à chier. Un bar à touristes. & les pintes de 14 oz pour le prix de vraies pintes c'est inacceptable. Le serveur était bien par contre

Fantastic place for 2am food & drinks.
Staff is amazing, food is delicious & extremely fast. Drinks are strong in the best of ways. Couldn't believe the low prices for this upscale bar!!
If you need late night service, this is the spot!
First time in Montreal, we came down just for the weekend & spent both nights here for drinks. Absolutely love this place! Shoutout to bartender Paul & Ben & all the other hard workers there. Customer service skills 10/10!!
Un service de grande qualité. Ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas été servie avec tant de professionnalisme dans un bar. Ça m'a rappelé les bons services que nous avions avant la génération "j'ai pas envie de travailler". Merci madame la serveuse d'avoir compris que bien servir des clients, c'est important. Vous nous avez permis de passer un très bon moment.

Stopped by here two nights, first on a Thursday then Saturday. Thursday was laidback with a decent amount of people & Saturday was busy but still chill. I think it's because people here are sitting either at the bar or tables conversing. It's not a bar where people stand & talk & walk around. I found that interesting as it makes for a different vibe. There's a variety of beers on draft & I tried one (Hop Valley) that was good. I drank a cocktail which was just the right amount of alcohol, not weak or strong. Its a pleasant & friendly place to relax with friends.
Uses QR code menu without table accessable plug ins. (This is my primary reason for a 4 star review) Food was good but my modification was not applied (did not ask for remake, that is on me) & drinks came slow for how busy the bar was (Monday evening).
My favorite bar in my favorite city! Large space with lots of seating & there's a pool table in the back. Fast service at the bar. They have one hot looking crew of bartenders & they all make great drinks. Merci beacoup! A bientôt!
