It's 2 weeks in a row that we go for lunch with my friends & my service dog. I enjoy their beautiful terrace with the views of the park & lake. The food is excellent. There's only 2 problems. The service good but don't expect a smile from the waiter & I think the owner she not to inviting. The first time I advise them that my dog is a service dog & show them the ID. They accepted to let us in. The second time she was not happy too see the dog & wrightaway she said you can't come in with the dog. So I showed her the ID of my service dog. She finally said yes but go seat in back of the terrace. My dog his very well behaved. I put him in a stroller because I don't want to disturb anyone. I do understand very well that some people don't like dog or are scared of them. The reason why he's in a closed stroller. The all attitude made me feel I very uncomfortable. It's to bad. I really like the food thats why I decided to come back with other friends. Plus there's a new law in Québec that permits the restaurant with terrace to accepte dogs to there discretion & they didn'tknow about it. I am sad too say that it will be the last time I will go eat there. So if you have a dogs even a service dog. You will not be welcome there. To avoid the agravation. But specifically the rudeness of the owner.
I would like to Thank Elena & all the staff of Taormina for a Fantastic evening.The Food Service & Atmosphere were First Class.I highly recommend Taormina for any Family party.
Tout est délicieux!!! Vous devez absolument essayer les gnocchis maison à la sauce rosée. Les meilleurs que j'ai mangé!! Le service est toujours tres sympathique & agréable. J'ai déjà hate à la prochaine fois. :o)
We recently dined at Taormina restaurant on Tuesday (the 27th of May, my hubbys birthday). We had a wonderful experience on the terrace & enjoyed our drinks with a great view of the lake. The bruschetta was incredible & so was the vegetable soup & our main courses were very tasty & well presented. We will be going back.
Everything about this experience was top notch. Accompanied a party of 7 within in hour. Food was amazing, service was unmatched. Food was good & filling. Nothing but smiles from our party.

Nous avons organisé une soirée privée pour les 40 ans de mon frère & avons passé une excellente soirée.
Super bien reçu, salle bien organisée. Le repas était top.
Nous avons pris un service de DJ sur la soirée & tout s'est super bien passé.
Si vous souhaitez organiser un événement sur place, je recommande fortement !
Helena, qui je pense est la boss, nous a plusieurs fois répondu au téléphone pour l'organisation & ça a été un plaisir de traiter avec elle !

We just celebrated our 25th anniversary at Taormina. We were so impressed with the food, service & atmosphere. Our guests keep calling us to rave about the restaurant. From our first meeting to organize our party to the day after when we picked up our flowers, they were incredible.
An absolute gem of a restaurant!
I had the chance to dine here with a friend while considering it as the venue for a future reception, & wow, what an experience. The food is exquisitely delicious, every bite a beautiful explosion of flavor. The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, & the energy of the place is just spectacular. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
The owner is an absolute sweetheart, warm, attentive, & truly passionate about what she does. Everything about the restaurant is beautiful, from the décor to the presentation of the dishes.
Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the reception I was planning, which truly saddens me because I could already imagine how perfect it would have been here. Still, I'm so grateful I got to experience the place firsthand. I'll definitely be back, this is the kind of spot you want to return to again & again.
