We arrived to the restaurant later at night, the main side was completely filled, so unfortunately we had to go on the other side alone which was a little disappointing. But the majority of the night was basically up Hill from there. Our waiter was totally exceptional! We have been there many times in the past & we have never seen this waiter before. He came immediately to give us our menus & greet us. When it was time to order. He came immediately to take our order, he was extremely nice & even made recommendation which we happily took. May I also say he was very good looking with gorgeous eyes! Haha Anyways, small details aside we ordered with ease & got our dried bread while waiting for our appetizers. After 20min our appetizers arived which is understandable because the restaurant was really busy. It was really tasty with just the right amount of spice. 25 additional minutes later our main course arrived. Very good chicken & beef it was the best I've ever had, the only complaint is the lamb was a little under cooked. The vegetarian dishes where very flavorful. By far best Indian food I've had in Montreal. Once the food was done our waiter came over & picked up our dished after we had some harmless small talk with him. We later had some Indian tea, which was very different but was welcoming. The overall experience was extremely nice, amazingly kind waiter with delicious food! We haven't been there since 2013 & going back was not a mistake. We will definitely be returning with more people!
Excellent service & la grandeur d'assiette était parfait.Salade, poisson, sangria étaient super! Je conseille bruscetta- délicieux. Le repas frais & de bonne qualité. On a participé à l'anniversaire d'un client & tous les serveurs/ses sont venu féliciter la personne avec 2 desserts bien originales)
Par contre, la serveuse à oublié apporté du café à cause d'être débordée mais cela arrive dans ces cas. Fortement conseiller a y aller!
I love Indian food. I used to live in Park Ex & had a lot of amazing & cheap restaurants to choose from. I was really disappointed when I moved here & tried this restaurant for the first time. It wasn't half as good as the Indian restaurants that I was used to & it was twice as expensive. I ordered samosas & was looking forward to sinking my teeth into a great big fat samosa packed with potatoes & spices, & was disappointed when I saw tiny samosas.. The rest of the food was also bland.
Hosted a party for 40people here. I can't think of a single thing that was not perfect; from the food, both in quantity & quality, the service, the room & the ambiance. They made the planning so easy, & flexible. This is truly a venue that I am planning on recommending to all my friends. Congratulations on a job well done.
Start by saying, I am indian & this place is worth it. Really good experience. Chicken pokora are a must try. Really good selection of different dishes including vegetarian & non veg. Super friendly & attentive staff!! Well deserved 5 sta
Went here when rue St.Anne was being torn up & re-done... despite this, Tandoori bellevue was still packed with people. We ordered sampler plates so all of us could try a few things. Even people that disliked indian before have now converted. A little more expensive that typical indian restaurants, but well worth it. Everything is fresh, well presented, & you are in a nice environment on rue St. Anne afterall. We all loved it. Very good butter chicken & the tadoor cooked meals are well worth the wait. Server was less than patient with some of our friends however, as it was their first time eating indian, & the server seemed annoyed at explaining all the menu items. Apart from this though he was always there to fill our glasses & check up to see all was fine on 2 occasions. Will be back
Excellent food. Tried the palak paneer & chicken tikka masala. Both arrived hot & were delicious! Staff was attentive & friendly. Also, the price was lower than expected, a nice surprise. Highly recommend!
Some of the best Indian food we've eaten. What we love is that the food is not as greasy as is typical of so many Indian dishes, but still retains the flavour. Everytime we come here we tend to order one of the platters for two which are delicious & very reasonable for the amount of food. The mango lassi is to die for. Only downside is I have yet to find the food spicy despite asking for extra spiciness-but then I have a very high spice tolerance!!
This was my 4th visit to this restaurant. It was my friends birthday & she had never been here before. I have to say that this restaurant serves the best Butter chicken this side of Montreal. I will continue to go back, & & you should try it too.
