Très bonne cuisine, service rapide & ambiance chaleureuse. Malheureusement, ce qui m'empêche de mettre 5 étoiles, c'est la quantité dans l'assiette : je n'en suis pas ressorti rassasié. Les portions de viande ne sont pas généreuses. Ça m'a coûté 26 $ plus taxes, & je trouve ça quand même cher pour la quantité servie, d'autant plus que d'autres restaurants mexicains proposent des assiettes plus copieuses au même prix.
The food is delicious & the portions are generous. The problem is that, in the two times I've been to that place, the waiters seem unorganized - they bring your food but forget the cutlery, & sometimes the side dishes arrive later.
We have been searching for a good Mexican restaurant for months & certainly found it at Tacos Frida! The server, Joshua, was attentive & kind, & the food (guacamole, burrito pastor, tortilla soup, etc) was all fantastic. We will be back!!!

The food & cocktails were good, however there were a couple of things that we felt could have been different. The fish in the tacos did not seem fresh as they were soft (not crispy) & didn't seem to have been fried/baked to order. In addition we were not told that there was an extra charge for changing the corn tortilla to wheat ones. Also, the churros were served cold.

I visited Tacos Frida on a Sunday night & had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but it was definitely worth it.
The food was very tasty, especially the pozole - flavorful broth, good seasoning, & tender meat. It really stood out! The tacos were good as well, though not particularly memorable.
Overall, it's a recommended spot if you're craving authentic Mexican flavors. The atmosphere is casual & vibrant, & the wait time is understandable considering the popularity. I'd definitely go back for the pozole!
