I visited Tacos Frida on a Sunday night & had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but it was definitely worth it.
The food was very tasty, especially the pozole - flavorful broth, good seasoning, & tender meat. It really stood out! The tacos were good as well, though not particularly memorable.
Overall, it's a recommended spot if you're craving authentic Mexican flavors. The atmosphere is casual & vibrant, & the wait time is understandable considering the popularity. I'd definitely go back for the pozole!
Delicious tacos, quesadillas & burritos. My order was adjusted from vegetarian to vegan as per my request (no cheese or mayo). Cute small but friendly place, they also sell cooking book in French & hats. Recommended!
Staff were amazing & so was the food! The decor was so nice as well. Would definitely recommend this place for all your taco cravings! Keep up the great work team Frida! 😊🌮
La nourriture du restaurant était vraiment bonne! J'étais venu un vendredi en pm & le staff & service était hors de ce monde:) Notre serveuse Ines nous a servi avec grande gentillesse! Elle nous a recommandé les tacos de crevettes & ils étaient incroyables!!
The staff here is spectacular. Able to accommodate a group of 10 with 30 minutes to close. We already knew what we wanted & the food came out very quick & fresh & delicious. We all got the birria plates & it comes with all the stuff to make your taco. I loved everything. It was so flavourful. The cheese crust was a great.
I can't recommend this place enough for good food! But do not visit with a large group right before closing! The restaurant isn't very big so it's best to reserve.

I sampled the chicken nachos, steak quesadilla, & pescado tacos, & each dish was a standout. The chicken nachos were piled high with tender, flavorful chicken & rich, melted cheese. The steak quesadilla featured a perfectly crispy exterior, while the juicy steak inside was full of savory goodness. The pescado tacos were a delightful blend of spice & sweetness, offering a burst of flavor in every bite.
I also tried the drinks & shots, & the hibiscus margarita was a clear winner-it was refreshing, with just the right mix of tartness & sweetness. The cozy, inviting atmosphere & the always-friendly, attentive service add to the overall experience. With its reasonable prices & top-quality food, Tacos Frida is the ultimate destination for anyone craving exceptional Mexican fare. Highly recommend it!

Some of the best tacos I've tried! The ingredients were very fresh, & the food was delicious. I had the tortilla soup & guacamole with chips as an entrée, highly recommend! For my main dish, I chose the Tinga Tacos, which were also excellent. Unfortunately couldn't try the churros :(
I recently had the pleasure of dining at restaurant frida , & it truly delivered an exceptional Mexican food experience. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant décor & warm ambiance set the perfect mood for a great meal. Thank you Luna for the great service 🙏🏻 Highly recommend!
Nous avons très bien mangé même s'il manquait certains éléments du menu. La serveuse a été un peu trop insistante à nous faire prendre des choses pour compenser les manques alors que ça ne correspondait pas à nos goûts mais sinon je recommande l'endroit
Tacos Frida is my go-to spot in the city for amazing tacos. A stroll down the canal to the restaurant makes for a perfect day, & the experience is always worth it. I never miss out on their Birria tacos & the great drinks they offer. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious, authentic tacos.
Un véritable bijou à Montréal! Chez Tacos Frida, j'ai été impressionnée par la qualité des plats & l'authenticité des saveurs. Le service était rapide & amical, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable. Les tacos sont incroyables, chaque bouchée est un voyage au Mexique. Mention spéciale pour les tacos au carnitas & le guacamole, absolument délicieux. Les margaritas étaient également excellentes, parfaites pour accompagner le repas. Un endroit que je recommande vivement à tous les amateurs de cuisine mexicaine! Endroit un peu bruyant aussi, donc soyez avertis!
