What a pleasant discovery! Thanks to Google Maps I stumbled upon this place. Located in a plaza on St Jean, away from the street. Small store front, easy to miss. That being said, there is a steady stream of people going in. People know about this place. The vegetarian quesadillas are friggen delicious. I'm already thinking of going back. The cheese in the quesadilla is crispy on the edges. The vegetable filling is delicious. The service was lovely & friendly. You do have to wait around to take your tray. The waiting are is where the majority of the dining area is. So the lineup to order, the place to wait for food & the indoor place to eat are in the same small area. The decor is very charming. Plenty to look at while you wait. Nice & functional terrace. Lots of parking. My quesadillas were 18$ something. Worth it!
Notre première visite. Personnel très courtois & gentil. Si vous parlez anglais ou espagnol, pas de soucis. Si vous parlez français, pas de soucis non plus car il y a toujours des employés francophones pour nous aider. La musique & le décor sont super. Par contre, la musique est si forte que c'est difficile de communiquer la commande. Nous avons mangé le combo de tacos au porc grillé (au menu du jour), servis avec des fèves piquantes (léger), de la guacamole (excellente) & deux sortes de salsa. Cela inclut une boisson sucrée en bouteille ou en canette avec une grande variété de saveurs. Nous n'avons pas acheté car nous ne buvons ni jus ni boissons sucrées en général (notre goût personnel). Petite terrasse dehors : agréable. On mange dans le cabaret sur un papier. Ils appellent notre nom quand c'est prêt. Resto sympathique : j'espère qu'il restera ouvert longtemps car je veux y retourner pour goûter à d'autres repas sur le menu!

Authentic flavors, recommend any of the tacos, especially the chorizos. One of the best frozen margaritas I had. Super friendly service, live the decor & even had live music!
Food was yummy, I'm glad to have something tasteful in the West Island. Staff was polite & welcoming. My only remarks would be, table service would be better as opposed to having to order & pay prior to sitting & restaurants' decoration is too cluttered. Ambiance is nice though. Recommend ✨
What an absolute gem! Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had on the island. I had never heard of this place before this past weekend. I had a car full of hungry kids & we just searched "west island restaurants" hoping for a quick bite. We went in with zero expectations. The décor is amazing, with walls full of memorabilia & quirky decorations. The whole place has a comfortable, lived-in, cluttercore sort of vibe & personally I am here for it. It's unpretentious & welcoming right away. The food is outstanding, with a great variety of Mexican staples at very reasonable prices. Our family of four were able to eat our fill of mouthwatering tacos & burritos, made with fresh ingredients, for roughly the same amount I would have spent for drive-thru burgers. If you like Mexican food & enjoy a casual, family-friendly vibe, you need to check this place out ASAP.
Do yourself a favour & come try this place. We discovered it unexpectedly & it was absolutely delicious. If you want some authentic messy Mexican tacos (in the best way possible) you should give this a shot. The decor is a blast & the space is cozy so it's a great vibe when it's busy. Even though there was some confusion with one of our orders they were great & gave us some extra food to make up for it, even when we told them it wasn't a big deal & nothing needed to be done!
This place is a must go if you're in the area & are looking for the full Mexican restaurant experience, the moment you walk into the restaurant from the often cold shiver of Canadian weather it feels like I just stepped off the plane into Mexico itself, with the music alongside the decor. As for the food, you get an absolute BOMB of a meal that in my opinion is set at an amazing price, my Birria itch has never been scratched so well, & to top it all off. The ordering process to getting my food is astonishingly quick, it surprises me every time & I love every single part of this gem of a place. Please do yourself a favor & experience this place, you will not regret it.

Amazing food. Best Mexican food in the West Island. It's a small location so it's always crowded. Love the decor. Music can be loud at times. But the food is fantastic. The service is also top level.

We came all the way from Laval to Pierrefonds to try Tacos Don Rigo 😅 It was a suggestion from my sister-in-law from like over a year ago. My Husband & I we were looking forward to finally try it. Let me tell you it did not disappoint 👌🏽 They have a pretty extensive menu both for food & beverages. She told us to try the quesabirria tacos & we added the pickled red onions as an extra & everything was simply delicioso 🤤 To our surprise, the guacamole wasn't very tasty though. To drink, the hubby took the horchata & for sure I got the Jarritos de Tamarindo 🤩 If you're looking for a place to experience the "Viva Mexico!" authentic vibes, this restaurant is definitely it. From the music, the decor, the staff to even what they display on TV, everything makes you feel Mexico 🇲🇽. The concept is well done! In terms of price, both for the portions & the experience, we believe it's fair.
The tacos' are as impressive as the Décor. Authentic & amazing. The Owners is such a cool guy & helped me order. If you shut your eyes & listen to the music, you would swear you are down south. The Carne Asada & the Taco de Birria are phenomenal. the best part of the Tacco de Birria is you get to drink that dipping sauce after like a soup. We hit this place in the winter, but we are coming back to town in the summer & we're sitting out on the patio with a margarita & our tacos.

Un petit bijou dans un endroit où on ne s'y attend pas. Les tacos sont bons & authentiques. Ils sont très sympathiques & le décor est chouette comme tout.
Sympa comme adresse pour une bouchee rapide & margaritas. Le decor est ecclectique & amusant. On a l'impression d'etre dans un village de la sierra mexicaine 😄. On y retourne.
