J'ai récemment visité TACOCHON & je voulais partager mon expérience.
J'ai commandé une torta ( TORTA PEPITO )qui était supposée contenir des oignons, des jalapenos & de la laitue, mais elle est arrivée seulement avec la viande & l'avocat. C'était un peu décevant puisque plusieurs ingrédients mentionnés au menu manquaient.💔🌶?
Nous avons aussi commandé des smoothies tropicaux à la mangue, pêche & jus d'ananas. Malheureusement, les saveurs tropicales étaient très légères & on ne distinguait pas vraiment les fruits.
Pour les sauces piquantes, la sauce verte était assez liquide & manquait de goût.
Comme c'est l'un des seuls restaurants mexicains à Laval offrant aussi un menu déjeuner, j'étais très curieuse d'essayer. Étant moi-même mexicaine & ayant déjà eu l'occasion d'essayer plusieurs restaurants mexicains qui servent des déjeuners.Comme je réside à Laval, j'aimerais beaucoup pouvoir revenir & profiter de votre menu.Ce serait vraiment agréable de pouvoir visiter votre restaurant plus souvent 🇲🇽🐽

Bon resto l'ambiance est bien mais quelque truc à travailler: 1- certain membre du staff ne parle pas français ou anglais 2- les plats sont arrivés en meme temps que les entrées les plats on eu le temps de refroidir avant qu'ont les mange & 3- manquait clairement de sauce très sec & décevant 4- 80$ (avec taxes & pourboire) pour deux personnes le prix est un peux élevée. Sinon c'est bien un 3 emplement mérité.
Première expérience, mais pas la dernière! Bon choix sans gluten, on nous dit qu'il font attention à la contamination croisée.... Ma conjointe a pris les tacos au crevette panées.... DÉLICIEUX. Crevette cuite parfaitement, sauce excellente. J'ai pris leur tacos suprême croustillant, ou un nom du genre. Ils étaient corrects sans plus. Mais le vaste choix nous y ferons retourné c'est certain.
Stopped by for a quick bite...it was really good & authenticity was pretty damn close...will be definitely going back ... the supreme tacos was great. The Porky was very plain & tasteless, had to put a lot of cilantro & hot sauce. I still think Frida has an edge over Tacochon. You won't regret eating here... the decor is nice & the restaurant is quite clean Staff members & polite & friendly

When we arrived the waitress couldn't even crack a smile & seemed annoyed that she had to seat us There were 3 patrons seated in the restaurant. We ordered an entree of fried calamari & they brought it to our table at the same time as our main dish . Calamari was over fried. The sauce on the side was tartare sauce mixed in with a red sauce that was tasteless. I ordered a beef Quesadilla. It was bland , & oily. It was served with 2 thin slices of radish. My friend ordered the shrimp burrito that was served with a choice of fries or rice . The rice was cold & there was so much liquid inside the burrito , that when she took a bite , the sauce leaked out all over her shirt & plate. The wait staff except for one waitress were all socializing together at the bar . Our annoyed waitress never returned to our table after we ordered our meal . She remained at the bar socializing. The one waitress that seemed to be the only one doing her job , asked if we wanted coffee or dessert . I ordered an Americano that took 20 minutes to arrive at our table . I assumed it was because the young man that prepares the coffee was too preoccupied with the staff at the bar he forgot to make it . I had to remind the waitress that took my coffee order I still hadn't received my coffee. When it finally arrived , it had coffee grounds in it We waited for our main waitress to return so we could pay. She was still at the bar. Not wanting to interrupt her we went to the bar & asked if we could pay. Needless to say service & food was below par .
Very good. Recommend the tacos & the Papas Locas. My family enjoyed the food & atmosphere. We were lucky enough to bring home one of their delicious sauces home. Thank you. 🌮🐖
Positive: *Nice clean environment. *The staff was polite. *The staff provided me with extra pineapple when I wasn't happy with the amount on my plate. * The staff went above & beyond when we mentioned we loved the habanero sauce. (Please try with caution but it's amazing). Negative: * We needed to ask for service twice often & once the second request was made it took a while to be brought what we needed to the table. * Someone's entree was forgotten (not charged). * One client was served the wrong dish (was solved without a fuss). * The meat in the pastor tacos was dry & didn't taste fresh, & all dishes that included pineapple had about 4 pieces or less of pineapple. * The calamari was 16$ but was a small basket. They weren't crunchy & the meat's texture was super soft. * The drinks are expensive (12$ for most) & I dont really recommend the 18$ Michelada. It's a nice display & tastes great but was terribly small for the price regardless. *The meals are expensive but sadly small & not filling. (3 tacos for 15 - 16$ before tx for example). I am hoping that this may just have been a bad day for them, but there is definitely some place for improvement overall. Disclaimer: I'm sure that the waitress was brand new & was probably struggling with one of her first groups (6 people) but I still think she did a good job under the stress she was under.
Wow!! Super resto. En plus d’être un resto familial, c’est du vrai mexicain! Les portions sont juste par rapport au prix, les sauces sont top ainsi que le service! BRAVO!! (Avril 2023
Humm aujourd’hui 5 mois après ma premier opinion, je tiens à vous dire que le resto n’est plus le même. Jamais au paravant j’avais commandé de fromage fondu & devoir payer extra pour les tortillas (.50$CAD CHAQUE). Un peu trop ridicule à mon opinion. En plus dés qu’on arrive il n’y plus de tortilla frite ´gratuit’ avec du salsa. Très déçue!! Sans rien dire que son personnel même exprime comment la gérance change dramatiquement les assiettes & portions en gardant les memes prix. En tout cas, je ne reviens plus jamais. Septembre 2023
C'Est un petit resto sans prétention.. c'Est bon mais il ne faut pas s'attendre a de la grande gastronomie..des tacos en toute simplicité..le service est correct sans plus..la jeune serveuse semble un peu gênée, elle n'explique pas les sauces qu'elle nous met sur la table si ont me lui demande pas..je vais sûrement y retourner si j'ai faim & que je suis dans le coin.
