Amazing experience at Table 51! The décor is stunning with velvet accents that make the place feel so sophisticated, & the live DJ created a great vibe. The food was fresh & sooo delicious, we loved the octopus starter, salmon, & braised beef. Service from Massimo & Laurence was excellent, friendly, & attentive. Highly recommend!!!

I've been going to Table 51 for many years now; not too often, but enough to be a decent customer. I recently went & although my waiter & my experience were good overall, the portions seem to have shrunk a little & prices are more expensive than at the KEG.
I was asked 4 times by the waiter if I want to get another bottle of flat water (which is 10$ ouch). No wonder he kept asking. I already had sprite & water. The braised beef was extremely tender however, the sauce/gravy could use some tweaking & so could the sides it comes with. It feels too stingy for the price & the dish was served warm, not hot. The lobster tacos pretty good with the side sauce but, they are also stingy on the lobster as it's practically inexistent. The starter cesar salad is pretty good but portion is small.
I know times are tough in this economy & that rent in your local is astronomical, but if the prices on your menu go up significantly noticeable, make sure the dish portion & quality follows. The menu should've definitely been enhanced & reimagined during the long closure. It feels like it's missing some pizzazz.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience as usual however, 230$ + 36$ tip, for 2 people with NO alcohol ordered is a bit crazy. I'm not cheap when it comes to going out to eat but this review summarizes my feeling about this experience as a whole.

Excellent restaurant! Très beau décor & produits de qualité! La soupe du jour & poisson du jour était délicieux! La tarte à la lime maison était un peu trop sucrée & acide à mon goût, elle mériterait quelque chose pour balancer le tout. La gâteau au fromage à l'érable était très bon.

The food here was excellent! I recommend getting the braised beef with the mashed potatoes & of course the fried Oreos are a must!
I loved the restaurant redesign & the atmosphere was very nice. Only negative thing that j have to say is that we had 5 different servers during our supper.

Nous étions cinq pour le dîner & avons adoré notre expérience. Le restaurant est superbe, avec un décor soigné, une ambiance agréable & des banquettes très confortables. Nous avons goûté aux pâtes du jour, au tartare de saumon, à la sandwich du jour ainsi qu'au saumon, & tout était délicieux. Une adresse à retenir - nous reviendrons sans hésiter!

The grape mocktail wasn't too my taste. But the rest of the was fabulous. Especially the Korean short rib :)

The food & service were amazing, first time eating at this restaurant & their menu has a lot of good & nice choices for every taste. I took the bao bun as an entry, they were delicious ! As for the main dish I took the tuna ahi burger & it was a very good experience. The tuna steak was melting in my mouth & the french fries'mama' very crispy & hot ! Amazing diner experience, go & you wont be disapointed !

We visisted as a group of 5 on our way back to Ottawa & find the service, food & ambience to be great.
Our server Max paid good attention to details & was very friendly to us & we were very wells served not only by him but all other servers.
The appetizers, main course & desserts were very good.
We will be back.

C'est très bon! Ça vaut le détour! Nous sommes partis de Gatineau pour faire l'expérience de la table 51. Nous avons été plaisamment, surpris de la qualité de la nourriture, le décor ambiant, & de l'excellent & chaleureux service personnalisé de Maro. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil personnelle & convivial du propriétaire. J'ai choisi les pâtes du jour avec une coupe de steak surlonge. C'était savoureux & parfaitement en complémentarité ensemble. Le dessert de shortcake aux fraises était succulent.
Je vous recommande fortement ce restaurant. 10 étoiles!

Staff super polite , we had an issue where they accidentally gave us someone else's leftovers & when we came back the next day , the manager/owner resolved it so quickly & apologized. Really made us so happy especially since the food here is so good. This service is more than 5* ! Thank you so much . It was our first time eating at this restaurant & certainly won't be our last!
