Table 51 comes across as a stylish, welcoming spot with a vibrant atmosphere and thoughtful design, where guests praise the consistently delicious food, inventive menu, and well executed dishes from braised beef to octopus and fried Oreos. The service is widely described as attentive, friendly, and professional, with staff making the experience feel special whether it’s a casual night out or a celebratory dinner. The space has been refreshed and modernized, earning compliments for decor, lighting, and a chic yet warm vibe, while the lively ambiance and occasional live DJ add to the overall experience. While prices and portions draw mixed notes in places, many diners feel the value is balanced by quality, flavor, and the ability to gather with friends and family. Overall, Table 51 is fondly regarded for its consistent quality, welcoming team, and memorable evenings, with guests repeatedly returning to enjoy both classic favorites and new creations.
We returned to Table 51 with high hopes based on previous positive experiences, but our most recent visit revealed some inconsistencies that impacted our overall enjoyment.
Atmosphere:
The restaurant maintains its vibrant, energetic atmosphere. The space was buzzing with conversation & filled with patrons clearly enjoying their meals & company. The decor & ambiance remain strong points, creating an inviting & lively setting.
Service:
Staff were universally friendly & welcoming throughout our visit. However, we noticed organizational challenges with multiple servers attending our table without clear communication about who was responsible for which orders (drinks, appetizers, mains). This led to some confusion in service flow. While our waitress was pleasant when we declined two undrunk cocktails & requested wine instead, she didn't inquire about the reason for our dissatisfaction. Similarly, no one checked about our appetizers, missing an opportunity to address the hummus issue immediately.
Food:
The meal was a mix of highlights & disappointments. For starters, the steak & cheese taquitos were exceptional, & the popped rock shrimp delivered an incredible crunch. The guacamole, pitas, & chips were also excellent. However, the hummus was underwhelming-lacking seasoning & presenting a grainy texture that suggested either unpeeled chickpeas or inadequate blending technique.
For mains, the Mediterranean seabass special was cooked well, but the side combination of rice & edamame felt mismatched. Serving these elements separately with seasoned edamame might have worked better.
Our cocktail experience was disappointing enough that we left two of three glasses largely full & switched to wine, though the reason for our dissatisfaction went unaddressed by staff.
Verdict:
Table 51 shows promise with its energetic atmosphere & some standout dishes, but attention to detail in both kitchen preparation & service communication needs improvement. We hope these observations help them return to the consistency we previously enjoyed.
Great vibe at Table 51, DJ, good food, & Mina behind the bar made the night even better. Super sweet & great at what she does, she kept the drinks flowing & made the night even better. Will definitely be back.
Great place to eat. Food & service was perfectly cooked. The staff was super friendly & even gave a free drink after we spilled one accidentally ourselves. Without a hesitation they brought another one without us asking for one.
Came here with some associates from work. Was a great experience! The food was excellent! I had the braised beef. Just outstanding!!The drinks were good. The only thing was that the service was a bit slow. They were not that busy so I was a little surprised about the slow service. Highly recommend!!! Don't forget to follow me!!
Service Décevant. Longue attente pour les drinks. Erreur pour une commande. Pas de retour pour la satisfaction du repas. Pas de demande de café- dessert étape de la facture. Par contre bon service pour l'eau.
The service was great! We ordered our drinks & appetizer to start (without any pressure from the wait staff to order the main course). The main course was ordered & served within 15 minutes. Refills on water, offered us if we wanted another drink. The food was absolutely delicious! The appetizer was the lobster tacos (with sauce, kale, carrots, & mangoes). The meal was the Mediterranean grilled chicken served with mashed potatoes (nice & fluffy, full of flavour) & asparagus, as well as the crab cakes which came with a kale salad with a variety of nuts, & fries. The portions were huge, so the "qualité/prix" was met. The only negative was the loud music making it hard to easily communicate with each other. Beers: Corona & Archibald Chipie.
A great dinner!!!! Staff was excellent & had great recommendations. Food & service was excellent. You can still get oysters other than what is mentioned on the menu if you do not drink alcohol. Definitely coming back when in town.

I always have an amazing experience here. They have great drinks & delicious food! I love their lobster tacos, bao buns & table 51 chicken sandwich. Everything is so flavourful & delicious!
Ambiance was elegant & welcoming. Service was on point!! Drinks were perfect. As for the food... delicious!! A must go to restaurant. We will be visiting it again.
Nice reception. Graciously allowed a change of table. Full & appetizing menu. Quick service of all drinks & food. Recommendations made. Sophie took care of us very well. Shall go back soon to try other menu items.

Date night with my husband to end our vacation. The staff was friendly & charming. We never felt rushed & that was a big plus, as most places, rush you in & out for the next reservation. We chose a Cesar salad - it was to die for. Not too much dressing that was overbearing. The bacon was real bacon not artificial stuff mostly served in other places. Perfect balance. Rib steak perfectly cooked, with crispy shoe string fries. We paired that with a side order of mushrooms. Seriously addictive. We had time to enjoy our meal & drinks. Ended the meal with the Lindt brownie - decadent. We are definitely going back & bringing family, as the restaurant is perfect for every occasion. Certainly recommend.
This place is terrible!! It seems as though they spent all the money on decor & none on a decent chef! The crab cake were soggy & fell apart . Also they were over seasoned & half of the veggies were soaked in oil & the other half was under cooked. The stuffed zucchini was the best thing I had & they weren't that good at all. Even my martini was bad. I should have known from then that the food would be terrible if they couldn't make a drink. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
