Our meal was above average but not fantastic. The service was spot & the atmosphere is great. My steak was large but not much flavor. The pot roast is fantastic.

We returned to Table 51 with high hopes based on previous positive experiences, but our most recent visit revealed some inconsistencies that impacted our overall enjoyment.

Atmosphere:
The restaurant maintains its vibrant, energetic atmosphere. The space was buzzing with conversation & filled with patrons clearly enjoying their meals & company. The decor & ambiance remain strong points, creating an inviting & lively setting.

Service:
Staff were universally friendly & welcoming throughout our visit. However, we noticed organizational challenges with multiple servers attending our table without clear communication about who was responsible for which orders (drinks, appetizers, mains). This led to some confusion in service flow. While our waitress was pleasant when we declined two undrunk cocktails & requested wine instead, she didn't inquire about the reason for our dissatisfaction. Similarly, no one checked about our appetizers, missing an opportunity to address the hummus issue immediately.

Food:
The meal was a mix of highlights & disappointments. For starters, the steak & cheese taquitos were exceptional, & the popped rock shrimp delivered an incredible crunch. The guacamole, pitas, & chips were also excellent. However, the hummus was underwhelming-lacking seasoning & presenting a grainy texture that suggested either unpeeled chickpeas or inadequate blending technique.

For mains, the Mediterranean seabass special was cooked well, but the side combination of rice & edamame felt mismatched. Serving these elements separately with seasoned edamame might have worked better.

Our cocktail experience was disappointing enough that we left two of three glasses largely full & switched to wine, though the reason for our dissatisfaction went unaddressed by staff.

Verdict:
Table 51 shows promise with its energetic atmosphere & some standout dishes, but attention to detail in both kitchen preparation & service communication needs improvement. We hope these observations help them return to the consistency we previously enjoyed.

Je suis un peu mitigé face à ce restaurant du Carrefour Laval. La nourriture est bonne, le service est attentionné, le décor est attrayant & les grandes banquettes sont super confortables (fait rare pour des banquettes!). Là où j'ai un petit bémol, c'est au niveau du prix des plats. 75$ pour un steak (correct mais sans plus) & des frites, 36$ pour un hamburger avec des frites, c'est, à mon avis un peu exagéré. Bref, si vous avez envie de passer un bon moment au resto & que votre porte-feuille est bien garni, allez-y sans retenue!

The food & service were amazing, first time eating at this restaurant & their menu has a lot of good & nice choices for every taste. I took the bao bun as an entry, they were delicious ! As for the main dish I took the tuna ahi burger & it was a very good experience. The tuna steak was melting in my mouth & the french fries'mama' very crispy & hot ! Amazing diner experience, go & you wont be disapointed !

C'est très bon! Ça vaut le détour! Nous sommes partis de Gatineau pour faire l'expérience de la table 51. Nous avons été plaisamment, surpris de la qualité de la nourriture, le décor ambiant, & de l'excellent & chaleureux service personnalisé de Maro. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil personnelle & convivial du propriétaire. J'ai choisi les pâtes du jour avec une coupe de steak surlonge. C'était savoureux & parfaitement en complémentarité ensemble. Le dessert de shortcake aux fraises était succulent.

Je vous recommande fortement ce restaurant. 10 étoiles!

Nous avions pris une table tranquille fond (nous étions 4). Menu interessant & varié. Service courtois & très bienveillant. Nous avons retourné les assiettes de steak haché pour les faire cuire davantage (de là à bien préciser si on veut médium, dire sans rosé à l'intérieur). La serveuse à tout repris & le résultat était parfait. Salade de thon cuisson tataki pour moi & salade de betteraves étaient très bonnes.

Apres la 3 ieme fois le service est long & toujours un serveur different la sangria est pas bien mélangé alors le premier a etre servie a juste du vin rt les autres du jus & énotmément de glace le hamburger steak la viande est vraiment pas bonne mais les patates & la sauces délicieux !!! Le gucci burger a 34$ cest pas du filet migion la viande est pleine de nerf je paye un surplud pr de la bonne viande pourquoi on me sert ca ....les frites sont bonnes.

Juste décu du fait que j'avais réserver en Octobre pour avoir un coin tranquille, & je l'ai rementionné lors de votre appel 2 jours avant.... On m'a mentionné ..."Bien sûr, aucun problème" .... En entrant, on nous a placer juste à coté du table de 20 personnes .... Prends t-on vraiment les commentaires du client en compte ?

L'entrée de charcuterie etait 5 étoiles, le boeuf braiser aussi. Par contre, le Rib Steak était à 75% du gras non commestible....une chance que la grosseur du Rib était bonne

On a quand même aimé l'expérience, mais pas assez pour dire que c'est certain que l'on va revenir

Le service à la table était 5 étoiles, je donne un 2 étoiles pour la réception ( jeune personne qui assigne les places).

Un énorme Merci à Nathalie (notre hôtesse), joviale, souriante & très compétente. Elle nous a réservé un accueil spontané & un service attentionné. Mon fetuccini était excellent, crémeux comme j'adore & le steak de mon chéri IMPECCABLE ! Très belle ambiance..

We visited Table 51 Decarie the week before & had wonderful meals so we were looking for a repeat with the Laval location. Unfortunately it wasn't the case. Place was very noisy & hard to conduct a dinner conversation. We started with a pitcher of white sangria, which was all lychee taste & nothing else. We returned it for it to be returned but no luck on it coming back tasting any better. The chicken & shrimp burgers came with small buns that were hard & over toasted. The hamburger steak was we done vs medium & it definitely wasn't Yukon gold mash as the week before was. More tasteless & unappetizing. We were celebrating a special occasion which was disappointing with the quality of what we got.

Date night with my husband to end our vacation. The staff was friendly & charming. We never felt rushed & that was a big plus, as most places, rush you in & out for the next reservation. We chose a Cesar salad - it was to die for. Not too much dressing that was overbearing. The bacon was real bacon not artificial stuff mostly served in other places. Perfect balance. Rib steak perfectly cooked, with crispy shoe string fries. We paired that with a side order of mushrooms. Seriously addictive. We had time to enjoy our meal & drinks. Ended the meal with the Lindt brownie - decadent. We are definitely going back & bringing family, as the restaurant is perfect for every occasion. Certainly recommend.

I came here this evening & I brought my brother & husband with me. I want to begin by saying that they were extremely impressed by the service & food as well. Sam is an oustanding waiter. He went out kf his way to explain menu items for me & helped me identity good food choices despite my allergies. He even went out of his way to get the kitchen to make me a dessert I had requested. As an avid foodie, I often try several restaurants a week. This is BY FAR the best service I have ever had. Sam always made sure our glasses were full & that our needs were met. You are such a great addition to this restaurant. We had an entrée of chacuterie platter & lobster tacos. Oustanding food & quality. I had oysters & tartare as my main meal, satisfying & delicous. My brother had braised beef & my husband had a rib eye steak. Even they were extremely impressed. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great & the service was oustanding. Highly recommended!
