Our rotating daily specialties will excite your senses. We will recast the tired and boring predictable eatery as something young, vital and completely new. We returned to Table 51 with high hopes based on previous positive experiences, but our most recent visit revealed some inconsistencies that impacted our overall enjoyment.
Atmosphere:
The restaurant maintains its vibrant, energetic atmosphere. The space was buzzing with conversation & filled with patrons clearly enjoying their meals & company. The decor & ambiance remain strong points, creating an inviting & lively setting.
Service:
Staff were universally friendly & welcoming throughout our visit. However, we noticed organizational challenges with multiple servers attending our table without clear communication about who was responsible for which orders (drinks, appetizers, mains). This led to some confusion in service flow. While our waitress was pleasant when we declined two undrunk cocktails & requested wine instead, she didn't inquire about the reason for our dissatisfaction. Similarly, no one checked about our appetizers, missing an opportunity to address the hummus issue immediately.
Food:
The meal was a mix of highlights & disappointments. For starters, the steak & cheese taquitos were exceptional, & the popped rock shrimp delivered an incredible crunch. The guacamole, pitas, & chips were also excellent. However, the hummus was underwhelming-lacking seasoning & presenting a grainy texture that suggested either unpeeled chickpeas or inadequate blending technique.
For mains, the Mediterranean seabass special was cooked well, but the side combination of rice & edamame felt mismatched. Serving these elements separately with seasoned edamame might have worked better.
Our cocktail experience was disappointing enough that we left two of three glasses largely full & switched to wine, though the reason for our dissatisfaction went unaddressed by staff.
Verdict:
Table 51 shows promise with its energetic atmosphere & some standout dishes, but attention to detail in both kitchen preparation & service communication needs improvement. We hope these observations help them return to the consistency we previously enjoyed.

Update: 7 ans plus tard, c'est tout aussi délicieux & le service est toujours impeccable.

Ce fut une expérience extraordinaire avec le serveur Deitan , nous y étions pour mon anniversaire & c'était la première fois mais pas la dernière. Deitan est disponible & a l'écoute des clients il fera tout pour vous satisfaire. J'ai également le reconnue le manager qui a travaillé dans un autre restaurant que je fréquentais & je n'ai pas été déçus de mocktails nous été offert pour mon anniversaire. L'es serveurs reflètent d'une bonne gestion donc kuddos au manager aussi. Sans oublier les plats qui étaient succulent! À bientôt

J'ai redécouvert le Table 51 à Laval & wow… quelle transformation! La rénovation est spectaculaire : chaque détail de la décoration a été pensé avec soin, créant une ambiance à la fois moderne, chic & chaleureuse. On sent un vrai souci du détail, autant dans le design que dans l'atmosphère générale.
La cuisine était tout simplement délicieuse ! Chaque plat était savoureux, parfaitement exécuté, & les nouveautés du menu sont franchement impressionnantes. On goûte à une belle créativité sans perdre l'essence du restaurant.
& que dire du service : impeccable du début jusqu'à la fin ! L'équipe était attentionnée, souriante & pour couronner la soirée, on a même eu le droit à un shot offert, un geste vraiment apprécié qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus mémorable.
Franchement, un sans faute. Une adresse à (re)découvrir sans hésitation, autant pour le décor que pour l'expérience culinaire.

Table 51 has great food, great atmosphere & GREAT service. Everything was fresh & flavourful & hit every craving I had last night. On top of the great food, our waitress Mina was hospitable & attentive. She checked in frequently & made sure we were taken care of while making great conversation. It's hard to find someone who loves their job & is good at it these days. Thank you very much Table 51!

Je suis un peu mitigé face à ce restaurant du Carrefour Laval. La nourriture est bonne, le service est attentionné, le décor est attrayant & les grandes banquettes sont super confortables (fait rare pour des banquettes!). Là où j'ai un petit bémol, c'est au niveau du prix des plats. 75$ pour un steak (correct mais sans plus) & des frites, 36$ pour un hamburger avec des frites, c'est, à mon avis un peu exagéré. Bref, si vous avez envie de passer un bon moment au resto & que votre porte-feuille est bien garni, allez-y sans retenue!

J'ai adoré le boeuf braisé & l'entrée de pieuvre. Cinq étoiles, sans hésiter. ★★★★★ c'est quoi ces évaluations 1/5 sans fondements?
