The ingredients are super fresh & they go above & beyond on the plating & the service . Would definitely recommend. The prices are very reasonable for what you are getting. A hidden gem for sure.
Have eaten-in & gotten takeaway from here many times & it's always been really tasty & fresh with beautiful presentation. The staff is always super friendly. Probably the best sushi we've had In the West Island.
I can only describe my experience at Sushi Yuu as positive & budget friendly. The food had the flavor & trappings comparable to many high end Sushi establishments in a more cozy & less expensive format. Sushi Yuu has become my & my husband's go to place for Sushi from the moment of its inception in the West Island market.
Ordered from Yuu sushi for the first time & I'm so glad I did! The sushi was so fresh, I had the tartare with taro chips & got such a generous portion for 16$. It's really rare to find quality sushi for a really good price these days, especially with everything being so expensive. I'm also celiac so I have to be really careful with gluten contamination with restos, & the girl on the phone was super knowledgeable on gluten free, she also spoke to the chef prior to making my order. Great experience will be ordering again!
It's a quaint restaurant that has about 6 tables at the most. It's really cute if you want to sit there. It's a very Zen space. The sushi is out of this world. The freshness & the flavours of everything is incredible. I can't speak enough about that. Their mixed platters look like they just came out of the picture topped & decorated delicately with black or red roe, & an assortment of edible flowers. The hot plates may not be the most amazing but you don't go there for that. It's a nice limited option to be able to share a salt & pepper calamari or shrimp as a starter before your sushi board arrives.
