AVOID! Egregious wait time! Temps d'attente absurde! Do not order, they say they focus on quality, but they are obviously understaffed & cheap. Save the time & money, Sushi Shop is better.
The food is excellent but I've eaten in the restaurant & ordered many times. In the restaurant, service is extremely slow. Sushi isn't that complicated to make & they just seem to take their sweet time. I tried to order through skip today & the restaurant was unavailable. They were not able to reach them to place the order & I was not able to reach them to ask about the status of the order. Skip canceled my order because they were unable to reach the restaurant. For mid-afternoon on a Monday this restaurant should be open so I would question the freshness of their ingredients & reconsider other places before ordering from this location. It is Tiny & not well located & I certainly wouldn't want to get sick on sushi so reconsider placing an order here.

Asked the guy for some advice on what to order as a plate to take away since I don't know my sushis. Worst mistake. I ordered the 16 pcs plater only to have him hand me the 12 pcs plater after a 15 minute wait. Wasn't in the mood to argue with him so here I am in the reviews instead.
The fact that they are able to serve you around 100 sushis in less than 40 mins at 11 pm on a Thursday night is enough to deserve the 5* in my opinion. :) The variety is also amazing; there's more than 50-60 different makis to choose from & all have interesting ingredients. Fish was fresh & everything was really tasty! I briefly looked through the bad reviews & didn't find them relatable at all, owner is super friendly & warm & was quick with our orders (we had late night munchies & it was the only sushi place open in the area). Thanks for making our night!! We'll definitely drop by more often
Can be 5 stars if have additional helper 100% The only sushi 🍣 place that is open this late! Great late night sushi place. 10/10 Dragon Eye & best fried sushi highly recommend all fried stuff! Called 20 minutes in advance, came & was eating within 5-8 min nice warm sushi !
This restaurant is awful. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I purchased sushi & half of a poke bowl from them on the 17th of November, 2023 at 5:15 pm. Later that evening at around 9-10 pm I suddenly got violently ill with nausea, vomiting & more. I kept vomiting all night until the next morning at around 8 am. I called the restaurant explaining the situation & the owner told me to come in & he would issue a refund. So I went to the restaurant a few hours later. The owner then said that he wouldn't issue a refund & he said so just to see "what kind of people you are". He started to become more & more aggressive & started to slam his hands on the counter & then told my mother & I that " this is Canada, not India & you should go back to where you come from". I kept explaining that I don't understand why you say such things & he called the police on us. The police came & told him that what he did was an abuse of power & he took advantage of the situation hoping the police would arrest us. The police didn't do so knowing that what the owner did (racial profiling & discrimination). To those who happen to be people of color, I really don't recommend this place unless you'd like for something as such to happen to you.
