Every time I visit my dad close by, we get takeout from Sushi Sama. The vegetarian sushi is great, very fresh. The owner is so friendly & generous too; he gave us a free roll! Will be back soon.

Multiple times ordered dragon roll on Uber eats & they keep forgetting to include the Spicy & sesame mayo . Sometimes both sauce , sometimes 1 .

Avoid this place.
The store is not clean & it feels stuffy inside.
Ordered salmon, & it was not fresh but had a bad fishy smell.
There was barely any fish in the maki only mostly rice. The vegetables weren't fresh too.
The sushi rice had a day old rice flavour & smell.
Sushi wasn't rolled firmly, leaving everything to fall out.
It wasn't presentable. The sushi looks like it's been made in five seconds.
I recommend other sushi stores such as Sushi Shop. Avoid Sushi Sama.

My second time ordering from here. Overall the rolls were good. But last night the salmon sashimi had clearly been frozen recently (it had that slightly icy texture in the middle) & the slices we falling apart. See photo. Also, as someone who used to be a waitress I understand tipping. But I find it unfair to include a 15% tip automatically, with no option to reduce or increase the amount. Generally tipping is for service, & I came to pick it up myself. So no delivery, & no table service. This should be changed.

The sushi has not taste. The rice was hard & no vinegar taste. I ordered dragon eye & was cold, taste like it was made 3 hours ago. I believe the california roll was prepared in advance due to the avocado & crab stick color that looked not fresh. Anyways not a five star at all. I give one star for the way it is rolled. It was well hold & one star on the cut. I do not recommend people to order there. For 60$, i can get better food.

Honestly I'm very disappointed with the 80$ sushi I just received. The avocado were hard rock we had to push them out of the rolls because they were inedible . One of the roll that I ordered we honestly thought they made a mistake & sent us a vegetarian roll because we couldn't see the fish. The fish was a tiny slice that was stuck on the inside of the roll & had zero taste. The rolls were all loose & the fried one had a weird oily taste . This is my first time ordering there & I love giving places a chance but this one is honestly off our list forever. We ate what we could & threw the rest in the garbage. I could call & complain but what would that give me? A discount when I no longer want to order from them no thanks lesson learned. The pros are that the website was fun to order from & the delivery was fast but the food on the other hand never again
