The sushi was so fresh & tasty & the presentation was just top notch. The staff were also reaaallly friendly & nice.
The only thing I didn't like was that the spicy scallop & tempura nigiri (number 49) was so sweet that I couldn't make out any other flavors. (Now that I think about it, maybe they got the order wrong. At the moment I didn't even remember that we had ordered something spicy to be honest)
We also got miso soup, wanton soup, dynamite (number 28), & Royal (number 25), which were all nice (we loved Royal the most).
Loved this gem of a find in downtown Montreal. Kids were craving for Japanese. Very friendly owner & staff, gave us all attention & suggested options. See picture, we were blown away with the effort placed into such an appetizing array. Price was also well-worth it. We will definitely come back, thank you Sushi Rosa.

Delicious sushi, authentic Japanese style, fresh ingredients, vinegared rice with just the right taste. I especially like the salmon sashimi - fatty, melts in your mouth. The price is very reasonable, suitable for students.
First time visiting this restaurant & the impression was very good! Delicious sushi, beautifully presented, friendly staff. Reasonable price, can fill you up without hurting your wallet. Worth a try!
The sushi here is really fresh & delicious! The fish is cut into thick pieces, the rice rolls are bite-sized, & the dipping sauce is authentic Japanese. The price is extremely reasonable compared to the quality. Will come back often! 🍣✨

One of the best sushi shop in downtown Montreal. I am overwhelmed with their hospitality.
They have a variety of sushi rolls, I tasted a few. all are yummy. The food serving robot is so adorable. I loved the way they decorated the platter. I would definitely recommend the shop to my friends.
The sushi was amazing! Each piece was a little piece of art - fresh, delicious, & full of flavor. The salmon nigiri was especially rich & fragrant. The cozy space & quick service were perfect for a date or meeting friends. 💕
First time here & already hooked! The sushi is beautifully presented & has authentic Japanese flavors. I ordered the mixed sushi combo & was completely satisfied - every piece was fresh & well-balanced. The price is reasonable for the quality. Will definitely recommend my friends to try it!

The sushi here is really amazing! The fish is fresh, the rice is just the right amount of sticky, & the seasoning is very delicate. I especially like the sashimi - the fish is sweet & melts in your mouth. The restaurant is clean, the staff is cute & attentive. It's worth coming back! 🍣
Came late on Wednesday for a casual date night & we were very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.
As other reviews have mentioned it's all very affordable & the fish is fresh & tasty. The flavours are also rather unique & not the typical kind you'd get at a sushi place. It's really nice to see this kind of experimentation, we had a roll that came with ginger inside, as well as some with mushrooms.
The staff are also very kind & sweet; the owner threw in some extras to our 24 piece. We were delighted to learn that the chef's choice includes specialty rolls-ours came with some Montblanc rolls which were delicious.
Overall it was a very positive experience & I'm glad we decided to come in. The staff were accommodating even though we came in about 45 minutes before closing.
We will definitely be back again!
2 year update, food & service are still exceptional as always. The owner is incredibly sweet & even on a takeout order there's such a high level of attention to detail.
The staff was SO nice. The lady was such a sweetheart as we were leaving & almost tried giving us back what we were tipping the staff because she thought it was too much. Will be back again
